The international press will take great glee in showing the world those Spanish soldiers boarding planes for their flight out of Iraq.

The Al Qaeda bombers are hoping for a domino effect in Europe as ally after ally disengages from our WOT after they see their Euroblood spill out in the streets.

This victory in Spain validates Al Qaeda's big Madrid gamble.

And look for similar bomber action in our convention cities of Boston and New York in the coming months. The American electorate is not totally immune from the effects of fear if terror strikes just pror to a big national election.

I'm just thinking this through, trying to wrap my mind around this...

- The socialists say don't go to war in Iraq, because Iraq is in no way, shape or form connect to Al Qaeda.

- Spain joins the coalition against Iraq.

- AQ attacks Spain in retaliation for joining the coalition against Iraq.

- The socialists say " See? We told you so!"

- Spain's citizens acquiesce to the leftists, and deliver them to power.

Did I miss something? This is the most impossibly stupid turn of events I've ever witnessed in my life.

Wrong, the French are learning from Madrid. You ought to read what they're putting out in their press. Sea-change in perspective. The French finally feel threatened.

The socialist French and Spanish will only support the WOT against Al Qaeda.

You are exactly right. The Spaniards reward will be freedom from attack. At what price? The illusion that they have exercised free will in the matter is laughable. They are puppets to the terror masters.
