Sorry, I screwed up the spacing in the ingredients.

1 (28-oz) can whole tomatoes in purée
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon tomato paste
2/3 cup packed dark brown sugar
1/2 cup cider vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt

There ya go!

Asking me to stop buying Heinz Ketchup would be like asking me not to eat meat. How will I survive???

First of all I didn't know we were boycotting any Frenchs' Mustard. Second I don't buy much Heinze garbage to begin with. And third were not hurting people doing this we are helping others. I don't see why I should have to suport one certian brand over anouther. We still got to eat something and people are still getting paid. Just a different set of people this time. It is our money and we should get to spend it how we see fit.

The guy who really does run the H.J. Heinz company is William R. Johnson, Chairman and CEO. Here are his contributions, according to the FEC. This is the guy you are out to "get":

Thanks for doing the research and publishing it. I stand corrected on my "boycott" position.

By the way, I don't boycott products just because they are RATs. They have the right to their opinion and politics as individuals in a free and civilized society. I boycott products where I feel my own money is being used against me in an activist way. For example: Joe Schmoe, CEO of a corporation gives $2,000 to the RATs...no problem. Joe Schmoe announces that he and the rest of his board have each donated $100K to "Joint Victory Campaign 2004" or "moveon.org"....big problem and I won't buy their products any more.

It's catsup/ketchup. A basic formula. About the only difference is the label and the cost. I personally buy the store brand. After all, it's just catsup/ketchup!

Not only will I boycott them, I will clean out the fridge and replace Mrs. Kerry's moneytree with generic (made in USA) stuff to tip the scale.

So do I. For many years I would not buy Ben & Jerry's ice cream, because to do so was to fund every stupid liberal cause there was. Near as I can tell from poking around at it, this is not one of those cases. It's a case of mistaken identity.

I will not buy Kerry crap -- in a bottle or out.

Ever notice how Democrats find everyday working stiffs to represent them? Take Kerry, he's a nice Union guy with a wife who doesn't send jobs overseas.
