I don't know about that but this morning Mary Maitlin said that in one of his speeches Kerry referred to the coalition members as window dressing.

He has to make sure that none of those "leaders" who begged him to be elected were involved in yesterday's carnage.

Kerry Condemns Madrid Terrorist Bombing

John Kerry issued the following statement today in response to the terrorist bombing in Madrid:

“I would like to express my sincerest sympathy to the Spanish people and the families of those killed and injured in today's horrific terrorist bombing in Madrid. As a country which has also experienced tragedy at the hands of these cowardly killers, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

“In addition to words of condolence and condemnation, America should offer every assistance to Spain in dealing with the aftermath of this tragedy and in bringing those responsible to justice. We must remember that all civilized nations are joined as one in the global battle against terror. While these attacks remind us that the fight is far from over, they also strengthen our resolve to stand together for the right of free people to live in a peaceful world.”

He used the word "Terrorist"?
I thought that terrorism was overblown and we should treat it as a police matter, also sit down with those rogue groups to negotiate?
What an idiot!!!!!! The only thing that scares me is, knowing that 30% of our children don't graduate and the parents go along with it, we do have a lot of idiots in this country who will consider his statements gospel.
Heaven help us.

"We must remember that all civilized nations are joined as one in the global battle against terror"

Kerry is acknowledging that there is a "global battle against terror" yet is unwilling to support it. He made a huge gaffe with this statement as most democrats (and leading democrats) do not support the "global battle against terror".
