In addition to words of condolence and condemnation, America should offer every assistance to Spain in dealing with the aftermath of this tragedy and in bringing those responsible to justice. We must remember that all civilized nations are joined as one in the global battle against terror. While these attacks remind us that the fight is far from over, they also strengthen our resolve to stand together for the right of free people to live in a peaceful world.Oh gee, that really sounds like it came from the heart.

He used the word "Terrorist"?
I thought that terrorism was overblown and we should treat it as a police matter, also sit down with those rogue groups to negotiate?
What an idiot!!!!!! The only thing that scares me is, knowing that 30% of our children don't graduate and the parents go along with it, we do have a lot of idiots in this country who will consider his statements gospel.
Heaven help us.

Pre-9/11: "...bringing those responsible to justice..."
Post-9/11: "I can hear you, the city of New York hears you, and pretty soon the people that did this will hear us all!"
Innocent, peaceful civilians got ripped apart by madmen and that's the best Kerry can do? "Those responsible" sounds like he's referring to schoolyard pranksters. How about, "we will assist you in anihilating the terrorist network who did this!"
