This was sent to me by my friend, who got it from his dad's friend. (I know its a long link, but this is direct from the guy who flew the plane, and this is his opinion.)

Not only is Kerry a jerk, he is also creepy and a dork.

No surprise that a Navy Captain had to deal with him. A good Chief Petty Officer would have marooned him on a small island.

I told him I had a small 27 sailboat in Okinawa, he remarked, "Oh I never sail on anything less than 135 feet." Rush related this part of the story several days ago ...

Thank you for an enlightening post. This is completely consistent with the psychological file I have of Kerry, after carefully studying his persona for several weeks.
He is an extraordinarily shallow insecure man, who suffers a severe Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He is mentally unfit for public service. In the private sector he would not be able to hold any productive employment, except perhaps as an exploitative unethical attorney (which he is). It is astonishing that he is a US Senator.

Well, Mr. Senator, John the Jerk!, sticks his head up in the cockpit and says, "This plane WILL take off, I have a press conference in Bangkok in three hours!" Sounds like another JFK who just HAD to get to Martha's Vineyard.
To: SmallGuerillaReactionaryArmy
Consistent with most everything I've heard about him. Come to think of it, I've never heard anyone, I mean anyone, from either side of the political spectrum, say what a good guy he is.

Thanks for posting this. Good to see a heartfelt inside story re this man, who wants to claim the presidency.
Kerry has many sociopathic qualities that Democrats seem to appreciate.
I hope more will share their encounters with the man, who wants to be King.

Not that I'm going to vote for a Democrat, I'm not, but I read through this whole thing, and doubted that any of it was true.

As a conservative, I'm certainly no Kerry fan, but this account proves nothing but that he's a US Senator. I bet half the Senate would be at least this rude.
For some reason the Senate is filled with pompous Arsses. Perhaps why few Senators ever become President. I live in DC have worked on the Hill as an intern and its just true.
One time I was at an event, and a Senator who always seems pretty stand up and down-to-earth on TV was there, Alan Simpson so I walked up to him to introduce myself. He acted as if I were invisible and he was deaf, totally ignoring me as I spoke--clearly I wasn't important enough to talk to. This is typical for a Senator.
I don't find Kerry's behavior unusual or surprising at all--for many Senators both sides of the eisle.

Kerry sounds like he really knows how to treat 'the little people' who elected him
He has a personality that seems like a cross between Zsa Zsa Gabor and Thurston Howell III
