One of the leading America bashers on the political scene today has endorsed John Kerry for president. Speaking to reporters after a February 27 Washington press conference to rally support for Haitis Marxist President Jean-Bertrand Aristide, Ramsey Clark said hes voting for Kerry because he would take U.S. foreign policy in a new direction.
This is certainly the case. Kerry told the New York Daily News editorial board that he would have intervened unilaterally with U.S. troops if necessary to save Aristides corrupt regime from a popular rebellion. Aristide, who developed a reputation for brutalizing and killing his political opponents, was encouraged by the Bush administration to leave the country.
I think John Kerry is a great human being, Clark told this reporter. I knew him when he wasI call a youngsterin his 20s. I saw him as an extremely caring person, an extremely courageous person, and a person who was deeply concerned for peace and the well-being of other people.
Clark has been labeled a traitor for his habit of showing up in countries hostile to the U.S. A lawyer, he has represented accused terrorists and war criminals.

"A lawyer, he has represented accused terrorists and war criminals."
Interesting that the author thought it necessary to mention that Clark is a lawyer. Apparently these days RC is known primarily as a radical flake celebrity, whose fans are unaware of the one real job he ever had, Attorney General of the United States.

A lawyer, he has represented accused terrorists and war criminals. Since Kerry seems to classify himself as a war criminal, I guess Clark's endorsement is hardly surprising.

"I think John Kerry is a great human being"
Glad that was cleared up for me. I thought that he was a product of Mary Shelley's imagination made up from numberous body parts from scads of donors. I thought that this is why he holds every conceivable position on every issue and not consider it hypocrisy.
After all, he does look like a Munster, or many have observed, like Lurch.
I submit that perhaps he was built, to born.
Blessings, bobo

This is exactly what Kerry said:
"I think you've got to be real and threatening," he said. His message to the rebels, he said, would be: "You're not going to take over, you're not kicking him out, this democracy is going to be sustained, we're willing to put in a new government, new prime minister, we're willing to work with you, but you're not going to succeed in your goal of exiling" Mr. Aristide. "And unless that's clear, you can't necessarily stop it in its tracks."
I'll give you $50 if you can EXPLAIN what he said.

Reporters should ask all our enemies who they want to win in November. Osama, Chirac, Arafat, Kim, what say you?

Great strategery for improving our national security.

I'll give you $50 if you can EXPLAIN what he said. Kerry has mastered the incomprehensible, incoherent speak. I want him to try his mumbo jumbo during the debates against Bush.

I'm sure there are juicy quotes of Clark on Iraq that can be used to tar Kerry. Have at it Freepers.

Clark spoke at some of the same rallies Kerry did.
