No red carpet watching for me, I blocked E! from my cable system. Too much smut late at night.

Well, I'll be participating.
I haven't seen ANY of these movies, but I do want to see which presenters make election-year asses of themselves on this solemn night, which may well be Hollywood's Funerally.
I also want to see fashion faux pas and Glamour Don'ts galore.
Catch y'all after eight...

I also loved Crumb! Great orginal films. Splendor is up for one award tonite. I watched Pieces of April yesterday, it was great, Patricia Clarckson is fantastic.
Big highlight of tonite will be Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara singing "Kiss at the end of the rainbow" from "A Mighty Wind" That will be worth it!
To: Syncro
no, next year they will be contemplating nominating the sequel !
The Resurrection of The Christ....
wishful thinking on my part.

Duh indeed. I guess I could've worded this more accurately and said, I do want to know WHEN the Hollywood idiots make deragory comments about GWB or Mel Gibson, and I want to know which idiots made the comments.

Erol won yesterday at IFP. He is a good filmaker, "Mr. Death" and "Gates of Heaven" were fantastic.

To: Hillary's Lovely Legs
I was going to mention that as well, but it took a while to get through all the "Ooh, I would never watch THAT" posts.
Thanks for the thread.

Is the Congressional Black Caucus rooting for Charlize Theron?
She doesn't look like a Monster to me.

Sorry, but I do not a *sh*t* about the Oscars! Total waste of time. This year viewership will be even lower than last year. Media hype and nonsense: Twisted egos on parade! It is all crapola. I refuse to watch even five minutes worth.
Tomorrow I can hit Drudge for 30 seconds and find out all about it. Why waste all that time watching a television show anyway ????

I hear that Penn is going down to Murry or maybe even Depp. Voters still do not like him. Also the Actress from Iran who was in House of Fog and Sand can upset Zeggweller (cold mountian) for best supporting actress.

I have not gone to a movie since 1982 when I was a extra in one. I taped a two hour program about Judy Garland on PBS last night I may watch.

Anyone else notice there is not one black nominee this year?
To: SandyInSeattle
It's smutty, that's for sure. I have Dishnet & can block any channel with a password that my kids will never, ever know. Ever.
