Robbins was fine and gracious. Let's hope Williams doesn't lower the fun so far.

Yes, if Robbins doesn't go off, it may set the tone for the night.

He behaved. How about that.
Darn it, I can't watch, FReep and cook dinner all at the same time! Something has to give!

Okay, one award down, a million to go.
Anyone else think it's going to be a long night?

I know, and I am starving.

Tim Robbins still built the suspense by saying that he had something important to say.
Susan Sarandon gave her own "a chill wind" speech this week when she defended Howard Stern. She said that although she disagreed with him, he was entitled to have his show and other people could just turn it off.
Unfortunately this is entirely counter to her position regarding Dr. Laura's tv show.

I get him confused with Richard Harris (Dumbledore in Harry Potter) who DID pass away after the filming of the last Harry Potter movie.

I imagine Mr. Eastwood may have had a discussion with his "actors" prior to the program.
Afterall, Mr. Eastwood has benefitted greatly from support on our end, and I am sure he wouldn't want to be smeared by his association with bad political press.
Or perhaps that took that into account and excercised good judgement for a non-second.
Susan Sarandon is getting fat.

I would have rather seen Baldwin or Honsu win, but its pretty certain that the Oscars are gonna play it very very safe and dull, again.

Well, another Bush jab- uncalled for.

Not that bad, just a joke about how things have changed so much since he first hosted the Oscars 13 years ago: A Bush is president, the economy is tanking, and we just finished a war in Iraq.
