Yeah, of course they'll try, but come on. Very few would be stupid enough to buy something that ridiculous, no more than anyone bought the line that Saddam's capture was insignificant after they'd screamed about what a huge failure -not- capturing him was for 6 months.

If we catch Osama, I'd give Bush a 98% chance of winning the next election.

Yes, that's why I think that these silly posts about Bush "holding back" on the capture of Osama until October are way off the mark. People should realize that no matter what Bush does, or when we capture Osama, or any of the other details, the Dems are going to try to use his every success against him. It's truly amazing.

The remark that it will not be announced until closer to the election does give me pause.It just may be a rumor to make Bush look bad.They are covered..lack of confirmation doesn't make liars out of them for months.

As if it weren't bad enough being unable to sleep, now you've got me monitoring CNN! (I was here when you broke the Saddam story and I well remember that CNN had the story way before the others. So I'll stay with them for now.)
