San Francisco Mayor Gavin Newsom invited Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger Monday to visit San Francisco so he can see for himself what the same-sex weddings at City Hall have wrought.
"There have been no riots to my knowledge, and I've been here firsthand to witness the civility of this process,'' Newsom said, responding to remarks by Schwarzenegger a day earlier that San Francisco's same-sex weddings, if not halted, could spark possibly deadly violence.

I'd like to see 1 male/2 female VRWC members (or reverse that 2/1) demand a marriage license in S.F., suing if denied. It would be interesting hearing their reasons for denying a license.

Right, everyone deserves the freedom to marry. Where does "everyone" stop? Why not more than two people?
Why limit age? The 1972 Gay Agenda Platform of demands included the elimination of all age of consent laws, as well as eliminating any restriction on the number of people (and sex) eligible to marry.
