Gallbladders, those evil things, but there is a simple cure, the only problem is that I can't find the company.
There is a pill made that is nothing but Peppermint and Papaya fruit.
I have tried the two in separate pills and it will not work as well, but might be better than nothing.
We found them in a mail order vitamin catalog about 1970, Mary was able to live another 15 years with her bad gall bladder and I went from threatened surgery to "no problems".
I may be the only person in my family with a gall bladder.
I have given Theresa my last bottle, it is what she used for her stomach problems during chemo.
My nephew thinks they are great for hangovers.
So OK, someone find the company for me, I can't locate them.
The label says (bottle is 10 or so years old):

In the beginning it was simply sold by Richards Vitamins.

Papayas natural enzymes can actually digest over 2,000 times their weight of starch!
Now, high-potency Super Papaya (Freeze-Dried) is combined with natural Peppermint and Chlorophyl for refreshing breath
After each meal, reach for Super Papaya Enzyme tablets, the natural aid to better digestion.
http://www.vitastand.com/2054.htm I took a course in natural herbology Ma and both of the ingredients you posted are defitely for stomach woes. I used to live on papaya tablets and chewed them after every meal. But does anyone else look five months pregnant eternally after having your gallbladder removed, also is IBS typical for gallbladder removal? I've had stomach ailments for about 30 years!

Ruth, I think you need your own Heloise type of all-around helpful hints book. I would be the first one to buy it!
