February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

I bow to your superior experience. I like the story of the 8080 music. I had heard of such a thing, but I didn't know anyone who had acutually done it. LOL

Good idea and question, we never did find an alternative. People, we have little time to know where to post, suggestions?

I'm not really sure. If a big attack is coming, the whole Internet might be down. I'm still thinking about it.

Bump

Muslims Use Mexico to Enter U.S. Illegally

hile the U.S. government wages war against terrorism on foreign soil, America's poorly guarded Mexican border continues to be used as a covert entry portal by international gangs that smuggle Arabs into the U.S.

In November last year, Mexico's consul in Lebanon, Imelda Ortiz Abdala, was arrested on charges that she helped a smuggling ring move Arabs illegally into the U.S. from Mexico. Also arrested in connection with the smuggling operation was Salim Boughader Mucharrafille, who ran a Lebanese café in Tijuana, Mexico.

U.S. security officials say Boughader, 28, is suspected of smuggling at least 300 Arabs into the U.S. between 1999 and 2002. He had been arrested previously for smuggling and served 10 months of a one-year sentence.

What a sick culture of death that is willing to send its women and children to blow themselves up. It's amazing how little they value things like family and life.

Islam in Conflict in Cleveland
TCS ^ | 02/24/2004 | STEPHEN SCHWARTZ

Muslims in Cleveland have, by calling for the removal of Fawaz Damra, demonstrated that they have had enough of the politicization of their faith, and deserve the support of all Americans. Their action may mark a necessary turning point in our country's recent history.

"After conducting a technical analysis, the C.I.A. assesses that the voice on the recordings is probably that of Zawahiri," a C.I.A. official said.

"Bush, fortify your defenses and intensify your security measures," he said, "because the Muslim nation, which sent brigades to New York and Washington, has decided to send you one brigade after another, carrying death and seeking Paradise."

George J. Tenet, said in testimony before the Senate Intelligence Community on Tuesday that Al Qaeda retained the ability to carry out attacks. "Even catastrophic attacks on the scale of 9/11 remain within Al Qaeda's reach," Mr. Tenet said, according to a transcript from the Federal New Service. "Make no mistake, these plots are hatched abroad, but they target U.S. soil or that of our allies."
