[history]
February 24, 2004 -- WASHINGTON - The Pentagon has dispatched the elite commando force that hunted down Saddam Hussein to Afghanistan for a new operation aimed at getting Osama bin Laden, officials said yesterday. Military sources confirmed that members of the shadowy Task Force 121, the unit that conducted the high-tech search for Saddam and his henchmen, have recently begun operating in the remote mountainous region along the Afghanistan-Pakistan border where bin Laden and key al Qaeda and Taliban fugitives are believed to be hiding. The Task Force is made up of highly trained Delta and SEAL commandos, as well as CIA paramilitary operators. It operates outside normal military channels.

I do. Everything they seem to do is calculated - why not the spacing of the events? The numbers 9 and 11 jump out consistantly with these murderers. All combinations are potentially lethal datewise.

Some American Food Stamp Help Desk outsourced - from Lou Dobbs
Incredibly those workers who have lost their jobs in this country to cheap overseas labor markets now may find themselves talking to workers in those foreign countries when they need help with their food stamps. 40 States and the District of Columbia are outsourcing their food stamp programs overseas. Bill Tucker reports.
(BEGIN VIDEOTAPE)
BILL TUCKER, CNN CORRESPONDENT (voice-over): It's not hard to find outrage about tax dollars for federally funded welfare programs going offshore.
UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: I'm (EXPLETIVE DELETED) off that you would take the jobs out of the United States and give it to other people in other countries. Like I said, I'm unemployed. Give me the job.
KERRY KORPI, AMER. FEDERATION OF STATE, COUNTY & MUNICIPAL EMPLOYEES: This was a program that's set up to help people who can't find a job. So, somebody's calling for help on food stamps and they're calling India. It's a cruel irony. If, instead, that job was located here in the United States, maybe there would be one less person who needed food stamps.
TUCKER: Most of those programs are managed by J.P. Morgan, and E-Funds and they offshore the work. A survey done by Stella Hopkins of the "Charlotte Observer" found that 40 states, plus the District of Columbia have food stamp help desks that use operators in other countries. Which creates another issue.
JODI HARAWITZ, COMMUNITY FOOD RESOURCE CENTER: Somebody who's being called, who's 6,000 miles away can't say well, how to get to the No. 4 train to get to a food stamp office. They can't tell them what a farmer's market is and that they can use their food stamps there.
TUCKER: For some bringing the jobs home is a simple equation.
LIZ FIGUEROA, (D) CALIFORNIA STATE SENATE: We would be assisting our economy if those jobs were held here in the United States.
TUCKER: Senator Figueroa has a bill pending to ban California tax dollars from going offshore. California is one of 23 states with such legislation pending.
(END VIDEOTAPE)
TUCKER: It's become apparent over the last several months that most, if not all state legislatures had no idea that portions of their food stamp help desks were located in other countries. And as awareness grows so do the state efforts at correcting the situation, Lou.
DOBBS: And hopefully soon. Bill Tucker, thank you.

A quote from the AQ letter on ItsHappening was interesting:
and we tell Abu Ali Al Harith Squad, the HQ decided the yemen will be the 3rd swamp of the american Devil, and for the apostate triator Govt which come next after Musharref...so all cells must get ready..work start at (4515sb)....and don't forget perfectin and don't forget Abu Ali Al Harithi and the divinly scholar which was handed over to egypt by yemen shiek Abdel Kader Abdel Aziz (Alsayed Imam El Shareef) who was captured 3 monthes after 11 sept attacks.
What does 3rd swamp of the American devil mean? Do they think we are chasing them into Yemen? Also, all cells must get ready..work start at (4515sb)? Is that a date we can track?

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1095939/posts Young Muslims in the Netherlands are being recruited for armed terrorism missions against Western targets, the Dutch secret service warned today.
In a note to parliament, the agency known by its Dutch acronym AIVD - repeated its November 2002 warning that recruits are active in the Netherlands.
Its known that some stayed in a training camp. Others are involved in supporting Islamic terrorism-related activities like arranging money and passports, the agency said.
Still others are in turn trying to win over other potential recruits.
Since the terror attacks in the United States on September 11, 2001, 17 terrorism suspects have been tried in the Netherlands on the basis of information provided by the secret service, including 12 suspects accused of belonging to a recruitment ring. All were acquitted of major offences.
There has not been a terrorist attack in the Netherlands in recent years, although two young Dutch Muslims were killed in 2001 while apparently attempting an attack on Indian forces in the disputed, predominantly Muslim territory of Kashmir.
In the past year and a half, there was a noticeable decrease in the age of the group of young men susceptible to recruitment, the AIVD said.
In some groups of young Muslims, the wish to take part in jihad appears to be part of youth culture.
The agency said that some Islamic-interest Web sites frequented by young men appeared to be fascinated with violence.
It definitely cant be ruled out that some of these youths just want to make an impression on their peers with radical behaviour and statements, the AIVD said.
The agency said it had also established that some Muslim women, too, foster sympathetic feelings for the violent Islamic struggle. However, they dont play a prominent role in recruiting, as far as is known.

What about a Z-Pack? Zithromax is a VERY strong, very effective antibiotic which continues to work in your system for 10 days after one has taken the last dosage.
I would be interested to see what any of our medical experts had to say as far as any antibiotic recommendations. What IS the most effective across the widest spectrum?

Construction crews and utility workers are as careful or not as they've always been. That hasn't changed. Either dogs have been shocked for some time and it wasn't reported, or something new has entered the system.
After the electrocution in New York, Con Ed tested about 260,000 underground structures, manholes, metal plates and service boxes and found less than 1 percent of them had stray voltage, company spokesman Joe Petta said. Still, two more dogs were shocked in New York this week.
In Boston, the main utility, NStar, took out full-page ads in the Boston Herald and The Boston Globe this week, pledging to check more than 30,000 manholes. But they blamed construction crews, not utility workers.
"It is unacceptable when construction crews can damage our system, walk away from a dangerous situation and then assume no responsibility for what they have done," NStar president Thomas J. May said in the ad.
