After thousands of years, these rocks start falling because of a little snow? I don't think so.

From Ha'aretz According to the archaeologists of the Committee for Preventing the Destruction of Antiquities on the Temple Mount, the underground work done by the Muslim waqf and the Israeli Islamic Movement in the area of Solomon's Stables and the ancient Al-Aqsa over the last few years has altered the land and increased the danger of a collapse. The waqf rejects this, saying it employed authorized engineers to supervise all the work.

A woman walks in the Western Wall plaza, Judaism's holiest site, in east Jerusalem's Old City, backdropped by a collapsed wall on the ramp leading to al-Aqsa mosque coumpound, known by Jews as the Temple Mount, Sunday Feb. 15, 2004. The wall collapsed late Saturday, no one was injured, and Jewish prayers in the adjacent women's section at the Western Wall were cancelled. The ramp is used only by non-Muslim visitors. Snow can weigh as much as 20lbs per square foot to as much as 150lbs per square foot (varies by depth and density). Using the low end end numbers over a normal width street for a city block (33ft x 660ft x 20lbs/ft2) = 217 tons of snow.
Depending on the condition of the earthen and stone ramp that usually is in desert conditions, it could indeed collapse under snow loads.

Folks, long after "Islam" has become an archaic word known only to archaeologists and linguists, Judaism and Christianity will be doing just fine.

========= Israel: Joseph's Tomb =========
Joseph's Tomb, after the Arab terrorists first destroyed it,
then after the Israelis restored it, and then again after the Arab and Palestinian terrorists struck again.
Early destruction of Joseph's Tomb by Arab terorists.
Then Joseph's Tomb, rerestored by Israel, tolerant of all religions,
Joseph's Tomb, after the Arab and Palestinian terrorists
resavaged the site, in their typical "pieceful" way.

The 5.1 Earthquake probably joslted the structure, however, the Waqf is digging down there to destroy Jeweish antiquitis. They did a better job than they thought.

Why do the women pray separately from the men? Is this Muslim tradition or Jewish tradition?

That is just awful. And the picture of the person walking by the collapse is just so sad. When will Israel realize it's power?

Is there a Third Temple Fund to which people could contribute money for the building of the oft-mentioned Third Temple? If not, would it be presumptuous to start one?
What would be the reaction to such a fund? Would Jews and Christians welcome it? And Muslims - how would they react?

Does anyone still believe that these two peoples can ever live side by side in peace?
I for one doubt it....

The Muslim practice of occupying the holy places of others will come back to haunt them.
I do not wish to be too near when the rent on the Temple Mount comes due.
