Vanity: [FR Poll] If it's Kerry vs Bush how will you vote?
2/7/2003 | FR

I thought because there is a poll on FR that says "If it's Kerry vs Bush how will you vote?" it would be good to start a thread on the matter for people to explain how they voted in the poll, if they choose to do so.

Why vote for a communist when there is a good Conservative candidate who needs your vote. Check out the Constitution Party.

Of course he's for big spending. The difference is that when there is a democratic president, the Republican congress does its job and stops the big spending. I used to be proud of our congress during the Clinton years.

Well said. I'm all for gridlock. The less that gets done in Washington, the better.

Voting for Bush would be a violation of my conscience and integrity.

Third party won't elect anybody. How will your conscience and integrity feel when Kerry appoints more liberal judges than now exist on the many judicial benches across the country? Why, we'll have even more criminals go free and laws be made, all from the tyrannical rulers of the bench.

My primary gripe - the totally out of wack budget

Your problem is that you are focusing on the budget deficit. The deficit in and of itself does not really matter. What matters is the overall level of spening. That we are borrowing to pay for it rather than being taxed to pay for it is not a critical issue. That being said, W is of course perhaps the worst president when it comes to spending in modern times.

An excellent summation. It shows the Dems'ignorance that this issue is way down on their list(unless it can be used to harm Bush in some way)

Answer: about the same as I feel when presedeste Fox cruises through the country as if he owns it and Bush. Who has Bush installed in the supreme court, anyway?

Kerry, of course. Kerry will bring our troops home and turn the defense of America over to the U.N. and we'll save lots of money and lives lost in terrorist states. Also, under Kerry, our jails will be emptied by the World Court and we'll save lots of money. And treaties like Kyoto will be signed and we'll save the environment. This is good for the whole world and will save us lots of clean-up dollars. And Kerry will end the debate over big issues like Abortion, Gay Marriage, Gun-Control, and Immigration. Free abortion on demand will be the law of the land, gay marriage is no problem, (marriage to goats or donkeys will be fine as well), NAMBLA and NOW will appoint our judges to make it so. Illegal immigration? Since when is immigration illegal? Gun-control? What guns?

Kerry undo all the wrongs brought about by the Republicans and will save us lots of money and make friends for us all around the globe. Will no longer need to waste money on national defense or even law enforcement. Likewise, Bush's tax cuts will be rolled back and we'll tax the rich to bring even more money into the treasury. And with all this extra money, Kerry can make life a lot simpler for all of us. Cradle to grave Free medicare for all. Free books for all. Free computers for the poor. Free food. Fria cervezas for all.

And if that's not you cup of tea, well, vote for Kerry because this way the country can go to hell right away and we won't have to wait for the Republicans to develop the backbone to dump the NEA. When America sees what hell is like under a pure Marxist/socialist government, then they'll suddenly wake up, forget everything they learned at universities like Berzerkly, see the light (wow!) and rebel. Yeah, that's the ticket! Viva la revolucion!! Viva Liberte!!

I'd feel better about it than Bush appointing moderates or liberals.

You are correct. That is what Kerry wants to do.

But some of these things require Congressional approval. How will he do so with a Republican Congress, in your opinion?

Then, you ARE ignoring all the conservative judges Bush has been trying to appoint but the liberal Rats won't allow for an up or down vote....of course you know that Pickering was a recess appointment...one of many whom the yellow-bellied socialists wouldn't allow the senate to vote upon...nice try, using the Supreme Court as a for instance.

What does "lose the war on terror" mean? Will Osama become dictator over the US or something?

Bush has shown zero interest in protecting our borders. In the war on terror that is paramount.

Bush's proposal is such an abandonment of responsibility that I want to know what Kerry's immigration policy is before I make a decision.

It's on his campaign site. All you have to do is use Google and go read it. Come back and tell us if you like it better.

If you don't like GW's spending just wait until hanoi john gets in and with his win the GOP congress could flip too. Don't forget we have a few RINOS who vote with the RATS all to often so even if it doesn't flip, it would not equate into gridlock.

The tax cuts are what has spured the economy so far, with out them I shudder to think how deep this recession would have been.
