I thought because there is a poll on FR that says "If it's Kerry vs Bush how will you vote?" it would be good to start a thread on the matter for people to explain how they voted in the poll, if they choose to do so.

True, but when it comes to the presidential elections in real time, it doesn't, but I guess it will over the years maybe, say between two elections, in that it could affect how the losing party's candidate reorganizes its platform. But that's it. It's a time issue. Why was the Republican party so full of fire in '93-'95? What changed about their platform that made them popular to the voting public? It sure wasn't passing the largest entitlement in the history of this nation. Rather, it was being against it. It takes time and patience. You can't just keep pulling the lever every 2 or 4 years for somebody just because they belong to a certain party. Washington even warned against such an action in his farewell address. I'm not concerned with the letter by a person's name but rather by what they believe and act upon.
I don't know if that can affect the presidential level politics.
It has in the past more than just 1992 and will do so again in the future.

Oh yeah........." INDEPENDENTS " who are really Commies/Dems. Ron Paul has to run as a GOP, because otherwise he doesn't get elected and he helps the Dem side of the aisle, usually.

Bush.
You can't move the country to the Right by shifting back to the left.

Perhaps. But it's my belief, it is valid, and what controls how I vote. I vote for the Conservative candidate. I do not wish to see Kerry elected and will not vote for a Democrat at the national level

He has made his decision and I will make mine. Which one is better only God knows. Bull ... you know exactly what the answer will be if the Dems take back control .. The Dems have a history to prove that
I admit I have some concerns regarding what President propose .. but his is just a proposal and can be improved on
The Dems didn't give it that .. they just push the paperwork through, and ignored the FBI's and others warnings

I have NEVER, not once in over five years, told anyone here, from another country, how he or she should vote in their election. If you still talk to MadIvan, just ask him. And please DO burn m words into your memory.
It is far from being " narrow minded ", for me to tell you the fact that YOU have NO say in this election and that your IRISH opinion is quite irrelevant, not to mention bloody arrogant.

P.S. when are you gonna grow up and get a real job instead of lining up at the trough with the rest of the useless government employees?
Call me after you get potty trained and I'll let you know then
I own stock in Kimberly-Clarke, so I get free Depends.
But I am curious what skills do you have that I would voluntarily pay for. I have calculated that I pay the salaries of about 10 UGE's are year. I would like to know what I am getting for my money.
