I thought because there is a poll on FR that says "If it's Kerry vs Bush how will you vote?" it would be good to start a thread on the matter for people to explain how they voted in the poll, if they choose to do so.

"There were no terrorists in Iraq before we attacked. Now they are crossing the borders to get in."Imagine that!
You mean that terrorists are so busy attacking that big, glaring, sticking-out-like-a-sore-thumb sh#tload of American GI's sitting in the middle of the desert that they haven't had the time to attack the U.S. mainland since 9/11?
Can you say "rented battlefield away from our towns and cities"?
The attacks on 9/11 killed 3,547 innocent people and eleven terrorists in a matter of minutes, we have not suffered even 20% of that number in field casualties in the ongoing war on terror but we have wasted a considerable amount of enemies.
Now, aren't you glad people with real brains are in charge of this nation?

"I'm voting for Kerry in protest."
Well then ya know what... you're an a-hole
Sorry folks but couldn't hold that back!

I can't imagine a Republican or a conservative helping to elect Kerry as President by refusing to vote. What will these people say when.... That's easy; they'll say, "It's Bush's fault." (Just like the Rats are saying now.)

I will vote for President Bush. Doing anything else helps Kerry win New Jersey's electoral votes. But I am not confident Bush can carry NJ.

W. ran as Mr. "Compassionate Conservative" Fair enough. But I for one clearly beleived that he was a man who beleived in the general Reagan principles. I did not expect these massive sellouts on CFR, immigration, education, NEA, etc.
Once again, I am not opposed to the man, and I will vote for him. But I do not believe that we are doing the country any favors by denying that there is a problem.

I'm not 100% happy with Bush--there's the medicare free drug boondoggle, campaign finance reform, and bloated federal spending--but he has done some things which John effen Kerry would never do:
Bush cut personal income taxes, cut taxes on dividend income and cut out estate taxes, at least temporarily.
Bush has made a brilliant start fighting the war on terror. Al Qaeda is decimated, and all the tin-horn dictators who would otherwise be inclined to harbor terrorists and/or incite jihadists against America are on notice that they could end up sharing the fate of the Taliban or of Saddam.
He has appointed several judges who just might be inclined to respect the constitution.
We need to re-elect Bush, and hopefully add a few Republican Senators, so that those tax cuts can be made permanent, so we can continue to win the war on terror, and so we can pack the federal bench with sane judges.

Once again, I am not opposed to the man, and I will vote for him. But I do not believe that we are doing the country any favors by denying that there is a problem. I agree with you. We do the adminstration NO favors by being OK with every policy that we don't agree with him on. It doesn't mean we want him to lose, or are campaigning for him to lose.
I wish people could appreciate that.

"Trying," whatever that means, doesn't count on my team or at my house. Getting it done is the only thing that counts. Recess appointments...that's the only way Bush got Pickering in. The liberal senators, like Dashole, are obstructing, not allowing the whole senate to vote upon Bush's nominees. Now, what YOU do? You see, we're not in your little house, there's a big house, called Congress, and they're not "playing by the rules." And there's really nothing Bush can do to make the Rat senators, like Leahy, Kennedy, and Dashole "play nice."

Actually, it's 71 years according to the link I posted in
#73. It started with the 73rd congress. There was a republican majority for the 73rd, but that was the McCarthy era, which only lasted 2 years, then we lost it again. After that, we were saddled once again with more socialism. (Notice the 73 theme going on here? too weird) Also, notice, the 75th had only 89 republicans in the house. I'm surprised there are conservatives. We need to do to the dems what happened to the GOP. Change would happen. It's impossible to think we can change the tenor of this country in 2 years.

Are you here to participate in a cogent debate on who you would or would not vote for any why, or are you here just to throw out accusations of selective bannings and then posting sarastic and rude remarks?
I am voting for Bush because I believe a 2nd term will create the momentum needed to put finally put the Democrats out of supreme rule that they have had for over 40 years.
I am also voting for him because I have seen the seriousness of his steps to making our country and the world a safer place.

Bush, because that nimrod Kerry wants to return to the "pre" 9-11 way of dealing with terrorists. Gees, Louise, we tried that crap for over a decade and all it got us was a few thousand dead, a number of buildings destroyed, hundreds of business and residents displaced, a telling blow to our economy, the still struggling tourism/hospitality/hotel industry, a four disintegrated airplanes, and a boatload of civil liberties invasions.
He cannot be that stupid and walk upright, but some folks are suggesting he run the country?
Bush, all the way!
