I thought because there is a poll on FR that says "If it's Kerry vs Bush how will you vote?" it would be good to start a thread on the matter for people to explain how they voted in the poll, if they choose to do so.

Great post Indy.
I think the most important thing that people are forgetting is how long it took the country to get to where we are in this current century.
The democrats have had a hold on the country for over 40 years.
Bush has only been president for 3 and shame on those who expect miracles in that short time.
Shame on those also who expect a President who will do all things for all people all of the time.
Isn't that what the most Corrupt Couple in Politics promised us lo those few years ago?

Then besides being utterly useless, you aren't of any worth as a poster to FR, a site which supports the reelection of President Bush. :-)

"I'm voting for Kerry in protest."
Haahahah. Funny joke. I love absurdity.

I'm not so sure. When Clinton was president, I didn't worry about massive new federal entitlements. We consevatives kicked his rear end on health care, and Clinton was running scared on the budget ever-after. Ok, you said this one! Maybe you'll have a chance to vote for Hillary and get really happy since you liked Bill so much.

A little less shame, toots. While I appreciate the passion, it turns people off.

W ran as a conservative in 2000 and won. Where did you come up with that? W. ran as Mr. "Compassionate Conservative" "Drug Benefit for Seniors" back in 2000! We had many heated debated back then, and the "Go Pat Go!" Liberty Post crowd was squealin just as loudly back then.
We supported him in spite of this because we wanted to clean the Clinton filthy out of our government and because his opponent was a deranged extremist.
We will vote for W. again for the very same reason. The Rats could have nominated Lieberman and W. would probably have been toast. But they didn't.

If you don't like GW's spending just wait until hanoi john gets in Experience suggests the Congressional Republicans might do a whole lot better opposing bigger government if it were not 'our guy' doing the bigger and better routine.
They have rolled over and played dead for GWB...c'mon, give me your paw....

Well, like I said before, any conservative who is not already motivated to vote against the Democrats has a real problem with reality and is probably too far gone to listen to reason. That's your problem not mine. My prayer is that the Greenies and other assorted third party leftists out number you guys two or three to one (and I think they do).

Then besides being utterly useless, you aren't of any worth as a poster to FR, a site which supports the reelection of President Bush. :-) When you mean FR as a site, do you mean most people on FR support re-election, or do you mean FR as an organization supports re-election?

Nic, exactly!! I can't imagine a Republican or a conservative helping to elect Kerry as President by refusing to vote. What will these people say when we have to ask the UN for permission to defend our country and when 9 month healthy fetuses are murdered or when ONLY liberals are on the Supreme Court?
To: nopardons
Now that's a good comeback.

I will vote for Bush. He's the lesser of evils by far. However, I think that Kerry will win. The Media is beating the drums against Bush non-stop 24/7 and will not stop. And Conservatives are enraged that Bush is actually a Centrist.
The extreme right is going to be very sorry for having voted 3rd party or by abstaining when Kerry is Prez.
You can't fight city hall, but you can try.
Vote for Bush!
"I can't get everything that I want, so I'll help get elected a president who will make sure that I get NONE of what I want!"
Extremists always seem to cut off their noses to spite their faces.
Instead of organizing protests, and engaging in activism to secure our borders, they'd rather let a Marxist Dem get elected so they can complain, and tell you that they "told you so".
Conservatives need to get even more active in PR, demonstrations, letter-writing campaigns, etc, to let the sitting President know that they disaprove of his policies.
Once a President gets into office, he is disengaged from the real world, necessarily, because of all the security and the sheer number of leters and emails he gets. If Repubs/Libertarians/Constitutionalists are SO unhappy with this administrations policies, they should learn how to respectfully protest-- not give up and let a Democrat win.

Those are simply the facts. I'm sure even the boldest Bush Bashers here can come up with a few things Bush has done that they agree with. And the question I have for them is..... If they don't vote for Bush, or sit out the election, oe vote for a 3rd party candidate that has absolutely ZERO chance of winning, what will John Kerry do for them once he becomes President?

Then, you ARE ignoring all the conservative judges Bush has been trying to appoint...
---------------------
"Trying," whatever that means, doesn't count on my team or at my house. Getting it done is the only thing that counts. The closest thing I have seen in Bush's attenpts to push for judicial appointees was when he said he honestly liked Ted Kennedy and when Bush the First awarded Kennedy a lifetime award for public service at the Bush Library. The Bush family periodically passes through Washington for a few years to install a lackadaisical country club in the White House. That's all they are good for.
