Not quite right; up by 4 instead of tied, and the Pats would have simply marched the last 24 yards on the last play to win by 3.

Only if they make it. The post I was responding to was critical of Fox for deciding to go for two each time. If he had just kicked the extra point each time, they still would have lost by 1, instead of 3.
