Not quite right; up by 4 instead of tied, and the Pats would have simply marched the last 24 yards on the last play to win by 3.

From
Drudge...
Top CBS executives approved a musical skit where Janet Jackson would expose her breast during the MTV-produced Super Bowl half-time concert, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.
"The decision to go forward went to the very top of the network," a well-placed source explained from New York.

I don't know. A few of our current players were trouble on other teams. Bill was able to tame them. I'd give him a shot, but drop him if he doesn't straighten himself out.

I watched it--and I'm really tougher than that. I watched the Ice Bowl, after all.

I tuned out after the crotch-grabbing carp. Just played the Janet Jackson uncovering back from the hard drive and it's obvious. It was intentional and planned.
CBS and the NFL ought to get hammered for this garbage. Hammered hard.

...but they were not necessarily the more talented and better team. Even if they'd lost...they were the better all around team on the field tonite.

CBS Statement on Janet Jackson--- CBS deeply regrets the incident that occured during the Super Bowl halftime show. We attended all rehearsals throughout the week and there was no indication that any such thing would happen. The moment did not conform to CBS broadcast standards and we would like to apologize to anyone who was offended

LOL, just saw the paintball, bud commercial. Been there, done that. It blows you mind the places you find paint afterward.

I laughed at the Lays ad with grandma and grandad, and the Bud Light ad with the two dogs ("Fetch" and "Bud Light"). Other than that, it was slim pickins this year.

Statement by NFL Executive Vice President Joe Browne regarding the Super Bowl halftime show:
"We were extremely disappointed by elements of the MTV-produced Halftime show. They were totally inconsistent with assurances our office was given about the show. It's unlikely that MTV will produce another Super Bowl halftime."
