The goal is World Rule.

I knew a German lady who had married a Pakistan muslim man, she tried to explain to me that her 2 children were the future of the world.

That by interbreeding, there could truly be one world.

I told her she was a fool!

There is a DHS community meeting today in Houston.
Most likely what you are hearing.

BTW, thanks for the link to the Guardian article.
It is a year old but still relevant.

Fraser stars as Adam, who was born in the bomb shelter of his paranoid inventor dad (a less-manic-than-usual Christopher Walken), who spirited his pregnant wife (Sissy Spacek, in fine comic form) underground when he thought the Communists dropped the bomb (actually, it was a plane crash). Armed with enough supplies to last 35 years, the parents bring up Adam in Leave It to Beaver style with nary any exposure to the outside world. When the supplies run out, and dad suffers a heart attack, Fraser goes up to modern-day L.A. for some shopping and long-awaited culture shock. More of a cute premise with lots of clever ideas attached than a fully fleshed out story, Blast from the Past is also supposed to be part romantic comedy, as the hunky Adam hooks up with his jaded Eve (Alicia Silverstone) and tries to convince her to marry him and go underground. The sparks don't fly, though, because Silverstone is saddled with the triple whammy of being miscast, playing an underwritten character, and suffering a very bad hairdo. Fraser, however, carries the film lightly and easily on his broad, goofy shoulders, mixing Adam's gee-whiz innocence with genuine emotion and curiosity; only Fraser could pull off Adam's first glimpse of a sunrise or the ocean with both humor and pathos.

Suspicious Powder Found in Connecticut Mail Center

NEW YORK (Reuters) - A suspicious powder was found in an envelope at a Connecticut mail sorting facility on the same night the deadly poison ricin was discovered in a U.S. Senate mail room in Washington, officials said on Tuesday.

A mail clerk discovered sandy granules in an envelope about midnight Monday at Wallingford, Connecticut, in one of the same facilities in which anthrax spores were found in 2001, a U.S. postal official said. The 2001 find came during a major anthrax scare that also involved Senate offices in the U.S. Capitol.

The clerk was decontaminated as a precaution and was not injured. Preliminary tests of the powder were inconclusive.

A 94-year-old Connecticut woman was one of five people who died after inhaling the anthrax bacteria that was spread in mail in the months immediately after the Sept. 11 attacks. The perpetrators of the anthrax deaths are still not known.

Wallingford is the major mail sorting center for the New England region. A U.S. postal official said the employee who found the suspicious powder was wearing gloves.

"It was field-tested and X-rayed and the results came back inconclusive in terms of a biotoxin," said Kevin McDonough, assistant postal inspector in charge of the New England region.

The envelope and other mail that could have been contaminated was isolated, McDonough said.

He said results from testing by the Connecticut state health laboratory would be known later on Tuesday.

In Washington, U.S. Capitol Police said a suspicious white powder found in a Senate office building tested positive for ricin in several preliminary tests. The discovery disrupted Congress and echoed the 2001 anthrax scare.

Now, go and give him a big hug for me and thank him for the best laugh that I have enjoyed in a long time.

Reminds me of when I was young and visiting Bill's relatives in Portland, seems that I developed the habit of running and answering Their phone, when it rang............

From a dead sleep, it had been going on several days and I couldn't understand why they didn't answer it.

Seems they didn't want to be knocked down by getting in my path.

I always thought that I might have been hoping for a call that meant we had to leave at once and go home.

Student Found Dead at Miami-Dade School

MIAMI - A student was found dead Tuesday at a middle school and the school was locked down.

The death at Southwood Middle School appeared to be "unnatural," Miami-Dade County police said.

Police Sgt. Pete Andreu said students were locked in their classrooms, but they were not believed to be in danger.

Dozens of worried parents gathered outside the school.

Andreu said he had no further information. Miami-Dade County School's spokesman John Schuster said he also had no details.

Southwood, which opened in 1976, was the county's first magnet school, specializing in visual and performing arts for students in grades six, seven and eight, according to its Web site. The building has a capacity of 1,375 students and the Web site said it was operating above capacity.
