I haven't forgotten about those balloons, nor the cancelled flights from Glasgow or those commuters cancelled at the last minute, last night. Also, those 4 men arrested the night before, trying to get inside the stadium. I think we won this one.

"A streaker delayed the start of the second half of the Super Bowl, with New England Patriots linebacker Matt Chatham giving police an assist in apprehending the naked male interloper."
Of course that could have been the tahiya as well...Can you imagine if that one was infectious?

(AMDG...did the balloons go up before or after the streaker?)

We saw what happens to a bio/chem attack in Outbreak, if AlQ wants attention will not happen because of quarantine.
Plot Outline: Extreme measures are necessary to contain an epidemic of a deadly airborne virus

If the jihad chatter was to lull us into believing the BS chatter so come the 4th we would think and exhale we're safe...

Are they expecting a Tesla war or is this just for radiation relocation?

I'm waiting to see how this month plays out.
No Al Queda attacks by the end of their year (2/21-22) means that they were thwarted, or never able to carry out such an attack in the first place.
If their "Apocalyptic" 1424 passes without incident they are done.
One has to believe that we have thwarted several attempts in the recent past.
Lets hope we can continue to do so!

released from a shell service station
This is what is wrong about Homeland Security not gettint their message across! Dumb idiots doing what they want without regard to what it could be perceived as!

The balloons weren't caught. Who releases clusters of balloons from a gas station and from a small motel simultaneously? If they contained something (and my guess is possible bio) it will become apparent over the coming weeks. If that streaker was infectious the security and football player Matt Chatham (among the rest of the teams who played in the 2nd half) will be first in line to find out.

Those of us actively that have been fighting the border issue here are beginning to see some excellent Freeper's leaving FR :(

I didn't see the haltime(family watched more innocent stuff)...what was the parachute about? Was this a planned part of it or did it tie into the streaking?
To: Domestic Church
probably some kind of a gag. a normal party balloon inflated with helium is not going to be a good delivery system for a bio-weapon, suppose the wind currents take them out to sea? if they had a bio weapon, they could drive around houston spraying it from a pickup truck, why bother with filling balloons and taking them to gas stations and motels.
To: Letitring
If their was any real threats they would go to a channel not accesible by the public. Think about it, if you can access their info and be prepared so can criminals. I've listened to hazmat calls and that is what they do. So that you are hearing the scanner should make you feel better -g-

Those folks who released the balloons might be the first ones the ER sees(if bioWMD were released.)
