I dunno what to think Stolie. I really don't, anymore. I did call my friends in Houston, who are getting ready to go to the game and read them that EOM message. Made their day, I'm sure. :( It was a difficult decision. I decided it was best to let them know. I asked them to stand by exits, away from those front windows, shown in that video, and to NOT drink any coca-cola.

True..I should've probably used Vegas for the example, as I understand that the Strip will be PACKED with Superbowl parties, revelers, etc.

I've actually always been more worried about tomorrow AM, given the "end US" video and the Italian paper threats to NYC on 2/2.

Guess we find out in the next few days if we've all been had, or if there's a real threat. But, like I told the wife..if nothing happens, we have no way to know if our guys stopped something that WAS real.

Fox News just stated that Wolfowitz would be watching the Superbowl with the troops in Iraq or somewhere in the surrounding area. I got a feeling that EOM's message may be pertaining to a hit on our troops somewhere over in the ME.

I don't want to tip my hand too much, but a couple of the more apparent ones are high visibility pre-positioning of l.e. at strategic infrastructure points and some specific surface transportation restrictions.

I guess I just thought that if we were at 'orange (+)' I'd have noticed some ramping up in my field - medical. I'm not a first responder and don't work at Harborview, but I'd expect that at my facility we'd have at least been hearing about "remember the disaster plan, etc". I haven't heard any disaster plan reviewing in probably 9 to 12 months. So I guess that lack of 'chatter' in the medical community has led me to a sense of security.

(UK) 'Ministers saw categoric WMD evidence'

The Government has seen "categoric" evidence that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, a Cabinet minister has insisted.

Leader of the House of Commons Peter Hain said he and other ministers, including Tony Blair, had seen intelligence showing the ousted dictator had chemical and biological weapons.

He also said weapons inspectors had uncovered evidence of WMD programmes, secret laboratories and "chemical and biological weapons ventures".

But Mr Hain said people should wait for the findings of the Iraq survey group. "I saw evidence that was categoric on Saddam possessing chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction," he said.
