Well, at least it wasn't a live boy or a dead girl.

They left out Sam Houston Johnson, Lyndon Johnson's brother. LBJ kept him out of sight at the Alamo Hotel in Austin.

"It's a pretty remarkable thing for a man just to go to a hotel room door and open it and have a woman standing there and have sex with her," said the attorney, Marshall Davis Brown.

"It was very unusual," Bush replied

ROFLMAO!

Hell, I'd certainly be tempted! If I thought they were healthy . . .

Neil & his antics could be the reason we need $1.5 billion for the defense of marriage.

I admit I skimmed this, then clicked the link to make sure it was from today.

Any idea what brought this on today? It's all old news except for a proposal issued "last month".

Or did I miss some "new news" happening yesterday or today?

Ever notice that presidential siblings are more embarrassing than presidential children?

At the end of his father's presidency, Neil was among a group of defendants who agreed to pay $49.5 million to settle a negligence lawsuit over the $1 billion collapse of the savings and loan he directed in Colorado.

Silverado. I knew people who got their finances screwed around on this one.

He should have gone to prison. All those S&L people should have gone to prison (and should still be there) for all the money they cost the country. But then, there were plenty of worthless relatives of bigtime pols and a bunch of congresscritters (McStain, etc.) connected to the scandal that we had a bipartisan accord on letting them all skip out.

"He had sex with women..."

That certainly is a step up from what Democrat liberals do!

Why is this "Brown" lawyer pointing out he has no experience. What does that have to do with anything. If she was my lawyer I'd say, "I don't care how he got the money. I just want some of it, bee atch."

By simply reading the byline & before opening this thread, I just knew this chunk of flem had been hacked up by the smear arists working The Associated Press.
The AP sewer's become rediculously predictable, boyz.

*Truth*.

Niel is a sack of dirt. I'm sure GWB loves him, it just must be a challenge sometimes.

"In the meantime, he has been ordered to pay $1,500 a month in child support for two of his children, Pierce, 17 and Ashley, 14. The couple's oldest child, Lauren, is 19."

If I was a betting woman, I'd bet Neil Bush didn't have to be ordered to take care of his kids, and I'd bet he would help the 19 yr. old if she needed it, even if he wasn't ordered to do it.

"Still, said Rice University political science professor Bob Stein, "there is a family pattern here where the Bush sons - Jeb, Neil and George - have benefited tremendously by their connections through their father."

This is the part of the article that pisses me off the most. The only "dynasty" the press and the libs want is a demoncrat one. As if the kennedy's never had a "father" and other relatives who helped pave their way; as if the kennedy name means nothing; and as if JFK had nothing to do with Robert Kennedy getting a job in his administration. No, I guess when it comes to dems, nepotism and connections don't ever apply. BS!

It seems that in every Presidential family there is always one sibling who is a total embarrassment to the rest of the family members. I well remember the embarrasing brother in the 90's and how he just couldn't stay off of the front page with escapade after escapade. But I must say, after all the embarrassment and scorn, all the terrible publicity, I thought Roger Clinton was magmanimous in his forgiveness of his hughly embarrassing brother William Jefferson!!!

That aught to keep their Ferraris hummin' -- it's not necessary, but what the hey -- he can afford it. And by the way, he's not been described as a saint. Any man perceived as less than perfect needs to get ripped off with the help of the government, supported by taxpayer funding. If power can't be abused, what good is it?

Still, said Rice University political science professor Bob Stein, "there is a family pattern here where the Bush sons - Jeb, Neil and George - have benefited tremendously by their connections through their father."

You could say the same for the sons and daughters of many famous people; The Kennedys, The Rockefellers, The Vanderbilts, and many others. It is expected of the children of the well connected that they'll make use of those contacts in order to further their own ambitions.
