Wrong Lisa. His fortune was made off early by taking huge positions and pushing the market. He was one of the biggest players in the NYSE going into the depression. When the market crashed he and a couple of others just happened to be on the short side of most of the market. He made a killing as the market fell. Later he was made the head of the SEC to stop traders from doing what he had just done. That is a fact about Camalot that is not often spoken.

Oh, I have no doubt that he scammed the stockmarket, although I think that's one I had not heard before. Thanks for the info on that.
I was just saying that his family got their start in bootlegging.
This man had a very long list of misdeeds.
