China on Monday confirmed its first SARS case since an outbreak of the disease was contained in July and authorities ordered the emergency slaughter of some 10,000 civet cats and related species after tests linked a virus found in the animals to the patient.

The WHO's a division of the UN and the UN is philosophically in line with China. Meaning SARS is here to stay, because there's NO WAY a vaccine will ever be invented for China's latest gift to the world : human suffering seems to be China's number #1 export and the UN's cash cow. Which is why SARS is way more hyped than virulent. And where're the PETA protests over the slaughter of all those innocent, enslaved civet cats?
