MSNBC just announced that three flights from Paris to the U.S. have been suddenly cancelled due to "security concerns". The first flight was scheduled to depart Paris heading for Los Angeles.
I could not find an article yet.

The Islamofascists hate Hollywood. Okay, well maybe they're not all bad.
Hitting 'Hollywood' is easier said than done. That's a lot of spread out studios which may or may not have a lot of people there. Are there any central targets they could hit, and call it 'Hollywood'? (Besides the sign)
I'm sure they'd love to hit an event that could bag them a lot of celebrities. (Oh my God, they bombed the Baldwins!) That would greatly magnify the publicity of the hit.

"...wouldn't a transatlantic flight from Europe to LA have a similar amount of fuel as it entered US airspace as a transcontinental flight from NY to LA, which is what the 9/11 flights were like?"
Many of the flights stop in Newark to clear customs - even though it is not listed as a destination. Ones that are truely non-stop go way north - up by the pole.
This might be an interesting link -
http://www.flightview.com/TravelTools/default.asp Two flights today from Paris-LA show "no data available" - could be the cancelled ones.

The Islamofascists hate Hollywood. There is much to hate. And there lies the rub. Most of what spews from that sewer is an offence against all that is holy.
Some of us are selective in what we consume from there. That is us exercising our liberty. Our enemy has no concept of the liberty that flows from the real God.
They hate that a loving God has truly given us a free will; and that He became a man. They cannot stand it.
So they want to kill us all. They pretty much have to, off the false god they worship.

JG actually called me a liberal and accused me of working for the Dems because he insists there are no WMD and my sources are all "tin foil", he even called David Kay a phoney
Then he's really confused! Aren't the Dems the ones saying there are no WMD?

I doubt if Follywood would be a target. The best friends the Islamofascists have in America live in Follywood.
Due to their buddies at Eisner/Peter Jennings/ABC phoney news, Disneyland would probably not be a target.
One of our key bridges like the Golden Gate or an open or closed nuclear power plant could be targets.

Is there any way everyone can list the questionable items we found in Iraq and ask Jim to put 'em up somewhere on the front page or something? If these planes (or others) do turn out to have something, we might be able to find out other connected data from here to reference.
I mean, what happened to the missiles filled with insecticide? The $60,000 chemical warheads found by Kuwait three months ago? The radioactive buildings found in April? Where'd all these go to and why aren't there any updates?
It's just something that's been bothering me for a while. Rant finished. Sorry.....

There are airports in several large Mexican cities adjacent to our border. A plane, passenger or cargo, could be on a reguarly scheduled flight to one of those cities and instead hop across the border to attack US targets. One southwest city has a football bowl game scheduled in the next week and has a large army base nearby also. The football stadium is within mortar range of locations in Mexico and is within a couple of minutes of the Mexican airport. Scary scenario that I hope the Feds have looked at.

wouldn't a transatlantic flight from Europe to LA have a similar amount of fuel as it entered US airspace as a transcontinental flight from NY to LA, which is what the 9/11 flights were like? A flight from Paris direct to LA would enter North America near or over Newfoundland and enter the US near or over North Dakota. It wouldn't go near NY or Chicago, and wouldn't go over any major city until it nears LA.
P.S. Nice wall.

"I have lived long enough to not stereotype people and nations and religions. Oh good grief, get over your self-righteousness. Sometimes you need to be able discern enemies from friends. Some would even call it stereotyping. If someone keeps intentionally hurting you, you are being irresponsible *not* to stereotype them.
"And there is no "we" on Free Republic.
Two or more people is *we*. You might want to check your facts on that one. Or just type "france", "french" on the search engine and read the threads.

Air France itself had been infiltrated
What's "infiltrated" mean in this case? Any more word?

Now it appears that several of them were actually flights for tomorrow (Christmas Day). I'm sure they will want to strike on Christmas or New Years. I am, of course, flying on both days, but that's the breaks.
My money is on tomorrow, actually, because they have recently warmed up their anti-Christian rhetoric and there appear to be threats to the Vatican, etc.
