Authorities raised the terrorist threat assessment over the weekend after new intelligence indicated that operatives of Osama bin Ladens al-Qaida terror network, possibly trained and licensed to fly passenger jets, may now be pilots for some foreign airlines, ideally positioning them to carry out suicide attacks, U.S. officials told NBC News on Monday.
Reinforced cockpit doors intended to thwart hijackers after the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks would now protect any terrorist pilot at the controls, the officials said on condition of anonymity.
Authorities would not describe the terror threats in detail publicly, but the U.S. officials told NBCs Jim Miklaszewski that the threat alert would remain at orange, or high, through the end of January, which they said was an indication of its seriousness.

I think anything short of a truly cataclysmic attack, something like a dirty bomb, will result in the same old PC ways I don't even think that would do it.
Personally, I think nothing short of waiting until they are powerful enough or aligned with someone powerful enough to duke it out for the full on survival of Western Civilization will do it.
And then it will be their way of life or ours. And unless we stop this politically correct nonsense, clean up our judiciary system and do somethink about the traitors that roam our institutions and streets the outcome is less than certain.

Sooner or later the West will realize that Islam is the new Nazism. Ever heard of The Crusades?

"Who do we nuke if it happens?"We continue to go after state sponsors of terrorism. And countries that refuse to help track down the funding and the source of funding.
That means we take out Syria, Iran, the Palestinian Authority, and Libya if they haven't changed their ways.

Listening to aircraft scanner traffic in the last hour here in Central PA, I heard an interesting question from a private aviation pilot to controllers: "Is the expanded Camp David thing in effect?" Unfortunately, the response from the controller was unintelligible to me. But the exchange implies that there is some extra level of precaution either in place or contemplated for this potential "target" . . .

I wish I could believe that, but I don't.

You could well be right. It's easy to sit back and talk about how we'd do this if they did that, but the reality is that we no longer have leaders in place who understand the nature of war. They don't understand the notion of conquering an enemy.

"Don't forget that Egyptian pilot who deliberately took a whole planeload of people to their deaths on an Egypt Air flight a cuple of years ago. (Was it before 9-11?) He was praying to Allah all the way down."
That plane had about 40 high-ranking Egyptian military officers on board - probably the real target of that pilot.

For the record, I _am_ fully prepared to do this if need be. I understood Serbian ethnic cleansing of Muslims in Bosnia -- for the [Christian] Serbs knew that _they_, too, were engaged in a struggle with Islam. They knew that what they had to do to win wasn't pretty. But they did it anyway, because, again, they were involved in a battle with _Islam_. (As are the Russians in Chechnia [sp?])
So what do you think of the Serbs? Would you be willing that Islamics here be cleansed and expelled in the same manner?
Yes John, I am ready.

now now Hank. We don't want to insult out Islamic "friends" Yes I do?
(By the way, I do appreciate the sarcasm.)
Actually, I do not want to insult them, but telling the truth offends everyone who hates it. If only a few wake up, it would be worth offending the entire world.

Thanks for the link.
The most interesting thing to note are the first 25 pre-911 posts on the thread you have linked. Truly amazing how some scoffed at the idea of controlling aircraft to inflict damage, abeit the non-commercial kind.

"We interned the Japanese in WWII. I have no doubt that should we get hit hard, we will do the same to the Muslims."
While it is a logical "we'll get you back" thought, these terrorist are all not in one location like that to eliminate them. Last thing we need is to take a knee jerk reaction.Remember,a fraction of 1% of these muslims are terrorists. That's who we are going after, isn't it?

I'm always locked & loaded and ready to Rock-n-Roll. We have been issued updated alerts and NBC warfare outfits that I have to maintain at all times. I predicted this stuff back when I lived in the Middle East. All they need is scrap plutonium and some TNT to make a dirty bomb or get a renegade nuke from Russia and sail it in on a boat. For biological warfare all they have to do is inject a martyr and have him sneeze in every Red Lobster salad bar from here to LA. The above is from my best friend since Kindergarten. He is in a front line position which shall go unnamed. God bless everyone and may we all have the courage to follow through on what needs to be done if something happens.
Lock and load.
