Oreilly V. DRUDGE: On the Factor tonight...
Oreilly Factor

What is Bill's problem with Matt tonight?
For those who did not watch the Factor tonight. Bill was compairing Matt to Michael Moore, etc. and basicly said you can not believe a thing on their web sites.
Its a Big Time Drudge bash fest. I guess he is a little PO'd because his book is not doing to well and Matt posted the results.

I was wondering just what his problem with Matt is. For him to say that you can not believe ANYTHING on Drudge is going way too far.

If it doesn't come out of Bill's mouth, it isn't true. /sarcasm

He also said that he has a modicum of respect for Michael Moore, that Moore doesn't deny what he is.

saw it with the misses and we stood jaw adropped
Matt made the internet work and networks must have a website simply because Matt does. The difference ? The networks lose 20 to 30 k a MONTH just competing..........

Bill is a huckster. People of principle scare him. People with ideas (what he sneeringly calls ideologues) are threatening to him. I have more respect for Michael Moore and Bill Moyers than I do for Mr. OReally. At least they know what they believe and are willing to stand up for it.

Rate Drudge by his overall accuracy, and his score is pretty low.

I'm getting to the point where I can't stand O'Reilly.
The whole "I respect your opinion" thing drives me nuts and seems so phony, and his ego grows at an exponential rate!
Do you respect me for coming on to your thread and voicing my opinion?

O'Reilly is believing his own press too much. He must be jealous of Matt Drudge and the success of his site vs the flattening of O'Reilly's.

I have more thoughts -- this is going to be just like O'Reilly's on-going fight with Al Franken - if Bill would have just ignored Franken's pathetic little book, hardly anyone would have known about it. Instead, O'Reilly starts a fire, and then feigns being pissed off about all the smoke.
To: shadeaud
Have you noticed that all O'Reilly does anymore is shill his books or his items? Is it just me, but it seems he talks about his crap for sale about 70% of the time.
To: jbstrick
I heard this, was surprised and Emailed Matt.
I think Bill is mad that Matt proved what he said about his book being #2 and rivaling Hillary a lie.
I think that is it.

LOL... Matt trashed his rating compared to Sean Hannity one Sunday night. Pure schadenfreud.

o'blowdard makes me SO SICK I can hardly stand it. I listen to him so rarely that when I do I find myself yelling at the TV.
A day or two ago, he was DEFENDING ka ka ka katie kaka mourning the capture of saddam.
O'blowhard is a total digrace. Even Greta is better than he.

Y'all refresh my memory. Didn't this feud actually start over Drudge breaking the story about O'Reilly was going to start his radio show on the heels of Rush Limbaugh's ear operation? Something about O'Reilly being cold and choosing the wrong time to make a move, etc?

O'Reilly is just biased - not in the same direction all the time, and he has a very thin skin for getting called for false information

IMHO he has a poor quality show - I usually turn to Hannity instead ( not much better).
I'm not looking for a Bush lap dog show - I like Savage the best for now.

O'Reilly seems to believe that his stock in trade lies in presenting himself as being scrupulously down the middle, fair to "both sides." Truth is, he's probably right-leaning, but wants to separate himself from the more popular conservatives such as Rush and Sean. Hence the Drudge-bashing (tho he does have a h***on for Drudge since Drudge broke the story of Bill's proposed radio show a while back). I find him entertaining, but for my money, give me the other guys any day.

O'reilly has a problem with the competition. Remember several months ago, O'reilly said to Neal Boortz "you're a vicious SOB" on the air.
The only thing bigger than O'reilly's mouth is his ego.
