The President today announced his next choice for Housing and Urban Development Secretary, Alphonso Jackson in the Roosevelt Room in the White House. Mr. Jackson is replacing Mel Martinez who resigned last week. Laura spent the morning at the Childrens National Medical Center in Washington, where she read to sick children, and watched the premiere showing of BarneyCam II: Barney Reloaded with them. Some goodies tonight, so enjoy your Daily Dose of Dubya!!

Gephardt was on Fox & Friends this morning and ALL HE COULD DO was whine that Pres. Bush hadn't gotten international help before going into Iraq. Specifically France and Germany were mentioned by name. It was soooo tiresome, soooo quickly.
It's amazing to see these supposedly politically correct liberals DISS European and other countries like Poland, Britain, Australia, Spain etc etc.
Guess those countries are chopped liver to the Demoncraps.

What "other place" are you guys talking about? I assume it's an anti-Bush thread. Can I gag them too? Ping me there please!

***Yes.....this is an amazing expression, and I've been trying to come up with a word for it.
It's so intense (and sexy), but sort of quizzical at the same time....
***
Intensely, sexily quizzical? Quizzically, intensely, sexy? Sexily, quizzically intense?
How DO his eyes change color like that???
It is a WONDERFUL picture! None of the Dim candidates have any expression other than rage and DUR.

Well, now Deb.....how did I KNOW that you'd notice that little pat of Laura's in the ranch picture??
Bet she didn't even think about it. That's just where her hand went automatically, and the camera captured it for us to enjoy!
Dittos to all of you who said they were a stunning couple.
John and Jackie weren't even close. Camelot was a farce. THIS is real!

He needs her.

For us poor, neglected Republicans, would anyone take pity and scan that picture so we can feast our eyes too? Have pity! If I had the calendar, I'd share with those less fortunate than I! :-)

That's right, he did. And those "dress with bow" pictures prove she's 'real' too. They need each other!
How are you doing? You're all in my prayers for God's peace.

They have more 'real' moments, where everything doesn't go exactly perfect, than the yukkys before them. They're willing to be 'real' and take the risk that things won't go exactly right--then they show how steady they are by not flipping out when things don't go exactly right.

It's called Liberty Post, and it's a gathering place for Bush haters who CALL themselves conservative, but have mostly been banned from FR.
I call it the dark side......

I remember that now. For a few seconds thee kids were all timid around Barney after he came bounding out so boiterously. Then the First Lady asked if anyone was there that wasn't afraid of dogs and would like to pet Barney. One kid stepped forward and then they all did!
It was great and illustrated again how comfortable and sensible both the Pres and Laura are around kids.

If I had a functioning scanner, I'd do it, but alas.......I haven't gotten it hooked up yet.
It's a beaut, and I'm sure someone else who has a scanner could post it.................someone?? (The ranch picture in the RNC Calendar where Laura is giving her husband an extra friendly pat......)
