I personally spoke with a Pakistani on 9-10, 7PM, NJ, scoping out the towers. 1st Pakistani I have ever seen fishing. Packed up and left as soon as I set up shop next to him.
The point: There were observers. I met one.

I agree. I think that the law enforcement agencies are at least on orange alert, just didn't want to panic people by raising the overall levels, because there is nothing much people can do about it anyway.

That anti-semitism is the motive force behind a good deal of the so-called "anti-war" movement should be pretty obvious.
With the death of communism the hard left has already been becoming more and more fascist, so it should come as no surprise that to make common cause with the Islamists they are willing to adopt the same hatreds and biases as the most notable fascist movement...

FBI officials said they were aware of the video, but declined further comment. It is not clear how al Qaeda obtained it. How they obtained it it? They filmed it, morons.. (damn they are dumb).

I found that interesting, too.
In August 2001 I attended an orientation at my church, as I was going to be teaching catechism that school year. At the Mass that started off our day, our pastor gave a startling homily.
He spoke of the important role catechists have always played since the very beginning of the Church. He reminded us that many many martyrs of the early Church were catechists. He then said (paraphrase) "And that time will come again. As sure as I'm standing here, catechists will be again be punished for spreading the Word of the Lord."
I thought of his words a few weeks later, and have often pondered them since.

Tip of Bayonne, NJ...good place to scope the downtown NYC coastline. When I pulled up next to him to fish, he seemed alarmed. Running at the mouth with small talk...stayed 10 mins, packed up, split. Never saw him again.
