Moderator note: I know it's going to be tough, but, please watch the calls for violence against this creature.

In a demoralizing message to U.S. soldiers serving in Iraq, visiting New York Sen. Hillary Clinton told them that Americans back home are growing increasingly skeptical of President Bush's decision to send them into battle.

Describing two meetings with G.I.s over turkey dinners in Baghdad, Sen. Clinton told reporters later that soldiers wanted to know "how the people at home feel about what we are doing."

Clinton said she told the troops, "Americans are wholeheartedly proud of what you are doing but there are many questions at home about the (Bush) administration's policies."

She also suggested that the U.S. could eventually loose the war in Iraq, contending, "We have to exert all of our efforts militarily, but the outcome is not assured."

Despite her sour pronouncements, the former first lady insisted that the soldiers were just as glad to see her as they were President Bush, whose surprise visit less than 24-hours earlier was greeted with standing ovations.

"It's a positive for the commander-in-chief to visit troops in the field," Clinton told reporters, adding, "the troops [also] seemed to appreciate seeing myself."

Speaking from a secure location just over the Kuwaiti border, Mrs. Clinton launched one verbal salvo after another at the White House, arguing that Bush officials had been "obsessed" with getting Saddam Hussein and saying the perception blinded them to the difficulties of deposing his regime.

"The Pentagon tried to make do with as few troops as possible, as light a footprint as they could get away with," Clinton said. "Now, we're playing catchup . . . Unfortunately, I don't think they fully appreciated the conditions we would encounter."

The top Democrat also reprised her charge that the White House is being less than candid when it comes to apprising the American people of the costs of the war.

"The obstacles and problems here are much greater than the administration usually admits to," she said, adding, "Everybody has to be honest."

lol....my boys and girls know daddy likes girls a lot...I try to be "above it all" but they know.

my girls know I don't like the salaciousness heaved their way with abandon from society but they also know I would admit ashamedly that Britney was sort of cute in that parochial school skirt...ugh...scary. All that gets a lot more "real" when one's own daughters enter the teens and are not "elephant legs"..lol. They know I think Aguilera and Pink are skanks on the other hand. I'd prefer they liked Mandy Moore but that ain't happening.

My lads are too young to tell. They sure seem awful aggressive and are sure not sissified at all which is a good sign in that arena and the eldest has expressed admiration of mommy's "big boobies"....another good sign from a 3 year old I hope. I'd love them anyhow but it would be trying.

I know full well that it is not fair that I and my wife for that matter apply somewhat different parameters on that sort of behavior for boys and girls.

I have explained to my daughters that yes....I realize that it is not fair and yes...I am a hypocrite but the ramifications for carelessness or God forbid promiscuity for them are much more dire than for boys as a rule. Just one of life's unfair consequences and they had better listen.

I hope they do, I have sure not forgotten life as a teen in the early 70s and I doubt you have either. Makes me queasy.

Nite!

He coined the phrase in relation to the fall of Russia and the new way nations would relate to each other in the newly emerging global economy.

Why would you concentrate on such a comparitively minor nit pick, do you have anything besides this that you wish to add, argue, or deny?

September 11, 1990 : Bush speech on Gorbachev meeting, Iraq, and the economy Address Before a Joint Session of the Congress on the Persian Gulf Crisis and the Federal Budget Deficit (Some conspiracy theorists go wacko on this speech because of a mention of 'new world order'; the term's only real importance in this context is that it refers to ending conquest-and-annexation as an acceptable policy for nations, which would be something that an aspiring 'Babylonian Ruler' like Saddam Hussein would not appreciate.)

And as you can see by the date of Bush Sr.'s address, evidently Hussein's supporters did indeed get the point and took offense at that speech.

Just one thing before I go...

Mandy Moore has what looks to be a really cute movie coming out.
Maybe your girls will enjoy it.

I think she is terrific.

Miffed or not about being trumped by the Pres' visit, this is a new low even for her.

I've often found that troublemakers like Hill tend to bring about their own demise. Unfortunately, they frequently cause lots of destruction prior to that and take others down with them.

So true. Her actions come under the heading, "Give 'em enough rope."

There are not enough words in the English language to describe my feelings for this...this...this...awful person. It is so good to hear that the boys are talking about the President's visit, and that they are laughing about "its" visit. Those soldiers shown in pictures with "it" looked none too happy. Please be sure the lads know "it" wouldn't know or speak the truth if it bite her.

... and liberals dare -- they @#$%ing DARE! -- to stand there, whey-faced and guileless, and insist that "we're not being disloyal; we're just dissenting."

"Good" and "Lord," in that order.

I have decided that my lifetime goal is now to maintain a healthy prostate, and to outlive that disgusting bag of puss so that even if I am 90 when she dies, I can go take a nice long whiz on her grave.

In an un-retouched photograph released by a Clinton staffer, proof is shown that the troops were indeed glad to see the Seantor.

Try this website. A Navy Seal using the pen name Deke, writes a monthly diary from Afghan. He gives you the scoop on whats going on there and answers your questions. There is also some good military jokes on there as well.

Almost as surprising, Senator Hillary Clinton (D-NY) visited Baghdad on Friday. In fact I ran into her here at the CPA. She seemed disappointed at the cool reception she got at the CPA mess hall for lunch. Most just stared silently. A few left. I imagine she was expecting a rush of well wishers: "Look. It's Hillary!" Sorry, Hillary but no, it ain't gonna happen here.

Well, this has ruined my day.

Dear Lord, I pray this evil person never becomes President of our great land. She is beyond belief. What a horrible thing to tell our troops. You talk about demoralizing the troops.

She should be held accountable for her words. Is there anything we can do to make her accountable?
