President Bush secretly landed an hour ago and is currently eating Thanksgiving dinner at my undisclosed location. Anticipate a press release after he takes off.

There are SO MANY ANGLES to this historic event. My brain is about to explode as I think of the hundreds of ramifications.Among them:
--Japanese TV on all networks and on the web, in Japanese, has this as the NUMBER ONE NEWS ISSUE, and Bush appears to be coming off as a bold hero, giving Japanese more courage and strength to stay in the fight with us.
--Kim Jong-il, North Korean dictator, in Pyongyang, who views Bush as his direct adversarial counterpart, must be absolutely defecagting bricks in Pyongyang. This will scare him and many many other tyrants.
Phenominal. Absolutely historic. Hillary Clinton, all the Democrat candidates and particularly Wesley Clark, must also be palpitating and blacking out.
Can anyone imagine the D.U. threads at this time? Wonder if they are all on a Jim Jones Kool-Aid Watch over there....

LOL!!! I've been sitting here quietly trying not to draw attention to the fact that the most effort I make at preparing a meal at thanksgiving is pulling the pop-top off a can of turkey n' giblets flavored Friskies, holding said can upside down over a paper plate until it *SPLOOTCHES* out, and breaking it up with a questionably clean fork.
Meanwhile, my DH has been directing the preparation and serving of Thanksgiving dinner for about 1300 people.
So you know what I'm thankful for. ;-)

This was a great moment in history when President Bush appeared! And the thunderous applause from the troops made me cry. I cried a little too. It felt good.

Thanks for helping cheer up the injured. I"m sure they enjoy being able to see someone to visit with even it's only for a few moments. It means a lot.....
The President's trip will really cheer up the troops in Iraq... I'm glad that he was able to do it and that the trip wasn't leaked.
To: Dog
Re...'this wasn't about politics'...
Dog, I realize the President went to Iraq because he cares deeply for our soldiers. And that's one of the reasons I care, so much, about him. He's genuinely a good man.
But, I couldn't help thinking 'take that, Hillary' cause, in my humble opinion, anything Hillary does is for her own political gain.

Have taken a peek at them...the goons actually think GWB did it to upstage hillary....even though the planning was 5/6 weeks ago....they are all 'deeply saddened'....LOL

DollyCali You are a canker. A sore that won't go away. I would rather kiss a lawyer than be seen with you. You're a putrescent mass, a walking vomit. You are a spineless little worm deserving nothing but the profoundest contempt. You are a jerk, a cad, a weasel. Your life is a monument to stupidity. You are a stench, a revulsion, a big suck on a sour lemon are you my ex???

Thanks for warm welcome..In the spirit of breaking the ice

I'm still on a high that the CiC flew right into Iraq like nobody's business and showed the whole whining world that we rule. Aren't we all. I am SO PROUD of GW and our brave defenders of our freedom. A Thanksgiving to remember!

WOW. I am so lovin this President. God Bless him. Everyone at my house, all ages, let out a huge shout and converged on the TVs as soon as we heard. Even the teenagers are impressed. Now they're all trying to figure out why I headed to the computer. LOL.That's what I did...lol. I've been out all day and for the first time came across this great news and RUSHED to FreeRepublic.com. What a great suprise.
I love the President as well. GO BUSH!!
To: JulieRNR21
Oh boy deeply saddened is an understatement. The people posting over there are absolutely rabid. They are blind to the fact that the troops love this President for standing behind them 100 percent. He is their commander in chief no questions asked.Open your eyes DUer's,no amount of your hating is going to shake the President or the troops.
To: RonDog
Thanks for the ping to the other thread!
