Radio KFWB 980 in LA broadcasting "Muslim Call to Prayer" and in need of some SERIOUS FReeping

I had just left Lenscrafters in San Bernardino and was enjoying my new bifocals and a nice cold Coke when something happened that made me spew my coke all over my dashboard. KFWB broadcast a MUSLIM CALL TO PRAYER complete with the Imam wailing away and some local Muslim cleric explaining thet it was a call to prayer for Muslims. Guy then goes into the standard spiel about how Islam is the "most tolerant of religions" and respects other religions and Jesus and we all worship the same God etc etc. And we all know what a crock of lies that is.

This happened just before 5:00 pm today and it sounded like they've been doing it all through Ramadan.

To each his own but I went to their contact page (link below and above) and shotgunned everyone on it with my feelings about them hawking Islam (Ramadan or no) and enlightened them with the TRUTH about Islam and I encourage everyone who feels the same to do the same. Just click below and fire away!

Are you seriously saying that any call to prayer is a call to pray to God (being presumed to mean the greatest being, the creater of all matter in the universe, the origin of all life that we know)? Are you actually saying that there is not any possibility that someone somewhere would not call people to pray to, say, my cat or your desk chair, or even a fallen angel who has sworn to defeat God in any way he can (not that he can, but he wants to)? Are you actually saying that all people who worship anything are worshipping the one and only omnipotent God?

Please understand, I am honestly not trying to make fun of you with this post. This is a serious and honest question. If you answered the questions in the first paragraph with a yes, then the only 2 possibilities that come to my limited imagination are that you either do not believe there is any such a person as a creator, or you believe that all such a Person would ever want is sincerity, no matter the outward appearance of that sincerity. If you are one of these or something else entirely, I would appreciate it if you would let me know so I can quit wasting your time with discussion that is totally irrelevant for you.

Whose laws? Which set of laws, which type of legal behaviour will you have no problems with? The Sharia laws that find it better for schoolgirls to burn to death rather than escape the flaming building without their scarves or burkas? The laws that allow or at least wink at honor killing of girls and ladies that were raped? The laws that do not allow the tesstimony of females against males? The laws that do not allow non muslims to testify against muslims? The laws that allow slavery of non-muslims? Are those the actions of worship and obedience that will be ok with you?

Every country that has gotten over 30 or 40 percent muslim population has gotten pressure and even war to impliment Sharia laws including the above. Any muslim that converts to christianity or judeism is subject to death. Any child of a muslim man and one of his 4 wives is subject to death if they choose christianity, even in non-muslim countries. We have been invaded by an army that is multiplying as fast as it can.

Their plan is world peace, they are the religion of peace. This peace, or submission, is complete when every nation has implemented Sharia law. That is the goal for them. They will settle for nothing less.

You Posted: This is predominantly a Christian nation, based on Judeo-Christian principles. If you don't want to hear church bells then go join your friends in the Middle East
My reply: You missed my point. I like the chrch bells, it is a souce of constancy in my life. However I repect the right of the Muslims to have a call to prayer.

I wish you would not make such nasty comments like "If you don't want to hear church bells then go join your friends in the Middle East" it re-inforces my point about what I dont' like about this web site, intolerance of religion, and intolerance of sexaul orientation. I am pro-religion and mine happens to be Christian. I am pro - Life. I am pro-military. I am against euthinasia. I am tolerant of all peoples to practice theri religion, I respect gays and encourage them to secure their civil rights. I am not sure where I stand on gun control. And I know about the second amendment and all that. Actually the more I think about it I am probably more Libertarian than Conservative.

Actually I am a good Baptist. Which means I can't drink, play cards or make love standing up - someone might see me and think I'm dancing.

I am no Muslim, nor am I a "useful idiot". I am just an American who loves his country, and doesn't want to see the constitution violated by those who want to outlaw a religion because a handful of its adherents commit crimes.

My reasoning is quite simple - I don't want someone to outlaw MY religion because a handful of extremists commit crimes.

Any other view is anti-American. Period. End of discussion.

The post advocating a felony was pulled - number 26 advocated "hacking" of the station's signal in order to stop this from occurring.

If you'd like the exact text, I can give it to you - I saved it.

My mind is a blank. But I did live in Inglewood in those days, and haven't heard that channel 98 sound in awhile.

"All that the bigots on FreeRepublic are doing is feeding their own hatreds"

Ah, excuse me, but who is the bigot here? When I went to the Middle East I don't remember hearing church bells ringing all over the place. Do church bells ring in any Muslim country? I doubt it. I do remember hearing lots of calls to prayer in the Middle East but I did not complain about it, obviously, because I was the visitor in those foreign lands.

The United States, on the other hand, is primarily Christian and we are at war with Islamic terrorists coming from a multitude of Islamic countries. We are not certain exactly who the enemy is (since they are cowardly terrorists who want to kill us civilians). Therefore, my point it, for a radio station to give aid and comfort to the enemy within our own borders is traitorous, especially since we are on heightened alert and there is always a call to prayer before another attack. If that makes me a bigot - then oh well.

I am not against a Muslim-owned radio station that markets to Muslims to have the call to prayer. That is different. It would be no different than a Christian station. The station discussed in this thread however is not owned by Muslims, so obviously, the traitor is just trying to make a political statement by sympathizing with the terrorists amd he deserves to be FReeped.

Agreed as to banning of religions. However, it's not just a handful of extremists, though I wish it were otherwise.

My reply: Well if we can bring democracy, and we need a strong military for that, to these Middle east Countires there is the hope that Church Bells will ring. I am getting off of this thread. Peace and Love to All....

You haven't established that all Muslims are terrorists, and you won't be able to, for it is not the case.

Furthermore, a private radio station is within its Constitutional rights to broadcast Muslim prayers, and doing so is not an act of treason. If you have any doubts about that then you are free to make a citizen's arrest of the radio station manager, and take the consequences of your actions.

We will not be holding our breaths for the salon bolsheviki to act upon their convictions, though. We understand that that is for others to do.

Do what you want with your own radio dial, but keep your hands of mine. After you have successfully shut off all Muslim access to the airwaves can Jews or Catholics be far behind?

This is the deal....9/11 is fresh in our minds, we have been hurt in the most vile way, we have never seen what we saw on 9/11 because all wars have never been overseas not on our own turf, out of respect we don't need to be reminded about what Muslims do, for most we had been living life not knowing what ISLAM is about not knowing what the heck a taliban was, and then boom 9/11 a big shocker, if ISLAM is a religion of tolerance and PEACE then give america time to heal. TIME HEALS ALL WOUNDS.
Let them prove they are friends of america we do not need to prove anything to them, so if they want genuine friendship give us time before we have to hear about ISLAM anything on our soil. That's my speel

I will tell you what I would do I would ban ISALM from being practiced for i year until we had control of who was plotting agaisnt us here, If Muslims who love this country want to stay they would refrain the bad element would be caught or leave, after that then ISLAM Could flourish like other faiths practiced in this country.
