Radio KFWB 980 in LA broadcasting "Muslim Call to Prayer" and in need of some SERIOUS FReeping

I had just left Lenscrafters in San Bernardino and was enjoying my new bifocals and a nice cold Coke when something happened that made me spew my coke all over my dashboard. KFWB broadcast a MUSLIM CALL TO PRAYER complete with the Imam wailing away and some local Muslim cleric explaining thet it was a call to prayer for Muslims. Guy then goes into the standard spiel about how Islam is the "most tolerant of religions" and respects other religions and Jesus and we all worship the same God etc etc. And we all know what a crock of lies that is.

This happened just before 5:00 pm today and it sounded like they've been doing it all through Ramadan.

To each his own but I went to their contact page (link below and above) and shotgunned everyone on it with my feelings about them hawking Islam (Ramadan or no) and enlightened them with the TRUTH about Islam and I encourage everyone who feels the same to do the same. Just click below and fire away!

Well, like it or not, the Constitution does acknowledge Christianity as a foundation.

However, it doesn't say "And no other religon shall be allowed in the United States" now does it?

99% of their community supported them. They were screaming and yelling about how innocent their "boys" (between 21-32) were...digusting.

Well, considering that Christians make up the largest religion in this country, one could say that the majority of murders in thsi country are committed by Christians, right?

I'll bet they're 3-Ms.

When a "christian" bombs an abortion clinic or snipes a man who has killed who knows how many babies, most christians agree that that is not right, not the right approach, and denounce the action.

However, christians not only denouce it, they claim :Oh, and he's not really a Christian". Now, if a Mulsim denounces an act, and says "And they are not true mulsims", some Christians say "Liar! He was! He was!"

I dont' advocate radical islam. I don't even personally like the religion at all. However, as long as no laws are broken, then I have no problems with people worshipping as they choose.

I understand why you would fear for your lives as there is more than enough fear and bigotry in this country but I truly think the biggest problem may have been the silence.... In other words, Muslims do appear to be shy in publicly protesting and condemning those they believe have committed an injustice...

Would you consider a March on Washington where Muslims gather to declare your support of change through peaceful means to condemn the extremists that have shamed those that practice your faith... Your silence has been deafening...

I hear the words of the very articulate rep from Saudi Arabia who takes the position that it is not the way of practitioners of the faith to express themselves in public but I see protesters in the West Bank, in Baghdad, Tehran, and many other locations with regards to policies of the West...

I think there has to be more, though I believe significant progress has been made, of a willingness for all sides to be willing to do a little more honest self examination...

Thanks, but I don't look to the Pope (a man) anymore than I look to the POTUS (another man) to lie to me about Allah, a 3000 year old dead moon god, being the same as God Almighty.

Islam is a cult of death, not just the radicals, the whole dern 'religion'.

Then buy the radio station, or marry the advertising manager and nag him to drop the ad. It's a free country.

If you value the constitution then you will shut up on this. If you succeed in stopping a call to prayer during Ramadan then you can expect a similar action when a station plays Christmas carols or wishes everyone a Happy Easter.

Islam can not let the constitution stand, the religion has its own government requirements. It is a government religion. You allow islam to become part of American culture and not fight it at every turn it will destroy this country like it has any country it has gotten hold of. So, if you value the constitution you would fight the normalization of islam in this country.

The station has the right to play this call to prayer. They people have a constitutional right to complain and then boycott this station.

BTW if you had not noticed the left is involved in the same type of attack on Christianity, Christmas and Easter being part of American society, their constitutional right. The difference: your constitutional freedoms were derived from freedoms the founding fathers found in the Bible thus Christianity. That is what the left and libertarians don't get loose Christianity that bound behavior to a certian moral code you loose those freedoms and get anarchy. Allow islam to derive a moral code you get slavery.

What good will sending hate mail do? "Islam isn't tolerant, islam is for nazis, blah blah blah," then the people at the station talk about how much real discrimination exists today against Muslims... you just make yourself look like an ass.

If you want to send a real email, investigate the guy they are hosting to make the prayer call, and see if you can dig up stuff on him (like support for terrorists in the past, or anti-Semitic comments), and then go public with that. If you can prove there is something wrong with this call to prayer, by all means do so. But sending hate mail won't accomplish anything, it just makes you look bad.

Even before 9/11 Muslims kept silent about how they lived they were here not to mix in with the US culture, I remember at the end of the nineties I was a Recruiter for High Tech companies looking for Programmers for Y2K projects we had so many Muslims here on work visas that wanted big money were arrogant and rude to there american counter-parts always downing Americans and the way they lived, were dis-respectful to women, they only kept quiet about how they really feel about this country after 9/11 out of fear.
