Who had the most to gain? I don't see the Cubans getting much out of Kennedy's death, nor the Mafia. And the Russians would have been most unlikely to kill a President they were out-thinking and out-maneuvering so easily (Kruschev considered JFK an arrogant little snot, with next to zero knowledsge of foreign affairs).

Oswald himself looks to have been set up as a patsy- study his reported movements on the day of the assassination and the day beforw) and they don't make sense if he was planning to kill someone- but they do if he was framed, and subsequently panicked.

No, my money is on LBJ, as ruthless a bastard as ever sat in Congress. He was going down-hard-if Kennedy dropped him from the ticket in 1964 (which was pretty much guaranteed), and probably qould have wound up in Federal Prison for some of his corrupt deals.

But suddenly, mirabile dictu!- Kennedy is dead and Johnson is President.

Does anyone remember just how much Bobby hated Johnson? And Bobby wound up dead, too.

Naaah. Just a funny coincidence...

OK, I'll put my tinfoil hat back on- those Martian rays are getting through to my cerebral cortex again. "I DO believe the Warren Report! I FDO believe the Warren Report! I DO believe the Warren Report!

There, I feel calmer now.

For a brief while, it looked like an air-tight alibi for Oswald. Just a few seconds after the first shot at President Kennedy was fired, James Altgens of the Associated Press snapped a photograph of the President on Elm Street with the Texas School Book Depository in the background. The photo shows a man who looks uncannily similar to Oswald standing in the doorway. The New York Herald Tribune on May 24, 1964, publicized the claim of researcher Jones Harris that the man indeed was Oswald.

But there's more to that story.

I suspect the Kennedys were killed by someone in the mob in retaliation for the Kennedys murdering Marilyn Monroe. (just another theorey)

Inclined to think LBJ was a probable accomplice after the fact (meaning he had after thought to the conspiracy, may or may not have taken part in it--animosity between the two does not equal culpability)... But CIA pulled trigger (after all--Clay Shaw did turn out to work for the CIA--according to former Deputy Director for Covert Ops Richard Helms).

But as to if he had motive, opportunity, and connections to persons present at the TSBD (can't remember the hitman's name), LBJ could very well be responsible.

Only those with access know the real shooter was Joe DiMaggio. He was extremely jealous over the relationship and totally distraught over the Kennedy's involvement in the death of Marylyn Monroe.

Funny that you should say that because Mrs. Connelly said she pulled Mr. Connelly down during a TV interview yesterday,

Mrs. Kennedy did had a motive. Hmmmm......No way......

Interesting, I never knew anything about this story.

I say the guy in the doorway is a dead ringer for Michael Bolton.

By the time I was actually born, I had succeeded in making most everyone think Oswald had done it.

The way I understood it, at the Bay of Pigs JFK was supposed to take back Cuba. The mob was making big bucks because of the casinos in Cuba until Castro took over. The mob through the unions help get him elected and the pay off would be Cuba. When that fell through he had to go.
If there really was mob connections, he can thank Daddy for that.

Voted Oswald but they needed to add another option of "Oswald and others". No, LBJ did NOT do it. Lady Bird and Nellie both would have to knock on my door and tell me to my face for me to believe LBJ had anything to do with it.
