Logan’s Miracle Room

Welcome to Logan’s Miracle Room.

• This is the room in which God’s miracle of a little baby boy named Logan was performed.
• This is the room where thousands of people joined in prayer daily to our Heavenly Father asking Him to let us keep this precious little baby.
• This room has seen many tears in the bad times when we were begging God to let him survive, and it’s seen much laughter in those good times when he was making progress.
• This is the room where people from all over the world came to know Logan and became familiar with his struggle to live.
• In this room we saw a tiny micro-preemie baby weighing only 1 lb 9oz, with less than a 20% chance of survival become a healthy, blue-eyed testament to God’s love.

We were all a part of this miracle through our prayers for his healing, and we thank God for the blessing received from being chosen to be a part of Logan’s life.

 

We ask that you come forth with your sick little ones and loved ones.
Tell us about the sickness, and your grief and your sorrow and your dread for tomorrow.

This is an update on my dad. He had his gall bladder surgery, and he is now doing well. He had some complications from being taken off of his blood thinners for his heart.

It took several weeks of messing with his heart medication before he had the surgery, but he finally did. Now, he is doing well. He's spending most of his time collecting pecans from two pecan trees in his yard. Then he cracks and takes out the meat of the pecans. I know my parents are sending me three pounds of pecans, and they say they have a lot more. My dad loves doing this, so he is very happy.

Thank you Mosby for your hard work on keeping everything posted. Especially with so much going on in your own life right now.

We got the results of Ryan's tests. The good news is he's not having focal seizures. The bad news is his brain is not making the connections it should. After a stroke, it is expected that new connections will be made. But in Ryan's case, it just isn't happening. The stroke was on the left side of the brain and the right side is bigger than it should be because of cebrovascular fluid in the "dead tissue" caused by the stroke. The Doctor said he's still young enough that the connections could still be made eventually. He needs more aggresive Pt. and more tests. He is doing ok, he tires easily. But he is the happiest little boy I know. I asked him yesterday what did he want for his birthday. He told me he would like a video now because the one we bought his brother is broken and he wants his own. But asked if I'd buy his brother something, and his little sister too. He's always like that wanting his brother and sister to get something too. Not to many kids are always thinking of their siblings...but Ryan always thinks of them. He's just an amazing little boy.

He'll be having more tests by the end of this month and I will keep you posted.

Hi Ryan and Shandon Belle...

As we read your post, it occurred to us that Ryan is indeed another one of God's little soldiers. He's bringing everyone together again, united in prayer, to help him fight this battle. He's loving, sharing, and compassionate in spite of all that he's been through and still going through. It says a lot for his loving family.

He will always be in our prayers, as well as his providers that Devine guidance will be theirs as they endeavor to treat this very special little boy.

Sorry I haven't posted this until now; My wife gave birth to a baby girl on the 6th. Everyone is doing well!

My first three are boys and they are VERY protective of her..lol.

Her name is Emma Clare, 7lbs 11oz, 21 1/2" long.

Wow Tom! Congratulations!! A beautiful name for a gift from God. You know of course, that the "Queen" has indeed come to your home and that from here on out, she will rule! LOL We can only imagine how protective her 3 older brothers are going to be.

Just wanted to share an e-mail I got from my big brother about his newest granddaughter, Madelynn, the preemie for whom many of you have been praying:

Thanks for all your prayers and keep them coming. She is off the ventilator. She is on an on demand oxygen. Fatso just made two pounds exactly today. Her Mom and Dad got to hold her for the first time last nite. AND, Oshners (in New Orleans) said she can come back to FGH (Forrest General Hospital, in my hometown, Hattiesburg MS) now to fatten up some more. She took pix with her Mom and Dad last nite, and i'll send them when i get my copy. Thanks again for all your prayers, and dont quit now

I have to tell you, I hold my breath everytime I get an e-mail from him, praying that it's still good news! And God willing, it will continue to be so.

When I replied to my brother's last e-mail about holding my breath, this was his reply, which I just received.

Personally thank all your friends for our family. The doctors and nurses all take these premmies as an every day thing, and i know they knew what to do and how, but i am convinced that Madelyn Diane Brown has a special plan to accomplish for GOD or she wouldnt be here. Your prayers proved that to me!!!!!!!!! all my love to yall

It is so hearbreaking to hear this kind of news, but strides are being made everyday ... we will pray that the medical field will find the "magic" for her and that our Lord will show His mercy in her case.
