Thanks. Yes, it was the perfect ceremony. Loved seeing his six-year-old fidgeting like a six-year-old. Arnold looked great, and he definitely seemed aware of the amazing feat he has achieved since being that poor little kid in Austria.

I used to be a zealot, actually I'm a recovering zealot :-) Just like drugs or alcohol, I thought being a fundy would stop all manner of abuse, but it didn't so there. Damn...all I can say is: "Me too"

I was busy and half listening, but he at least mentioned each of the three. He spent a while on the 'dangerous latino' part of the SJC ones, and some time with the CIA Iraq/al Queda ones. I heard him at least bring up the Hannity leaked one, but that I heard the least of.

Glad he brought up the subject of his pain. He sounds like his head is securely on his shoulders. I wish I could give him the part of my brain that dislikes the effect of opiates.

Talking about possible surgery at some future time to deal with back pain -- would require going through throat and involve missing the larynx. Saying that medication was helping the pain and his avoiding the operation, but that was just an excuse for using the opiates. Being very frank and honest now.

I just don't like zealots. Sorry that you've had bad experiences with some zealots. Who hasn't? The problem is not zeal itself but the object of the zeal. Jesus was "consumed" by zeal (John 2:17) for "his father's house," which was the temple. Christians who follow his example will be consumed by zeal for the church.
I'm happy when anyone leaves drunkenness or slavery to drugs, however that occurs, but I oppose bringing foreign religion into the church (whether or not in the name of helping people recover).

He touched on Memogate. I turned to the inauguration so I might have missed some but I did hear Rush talk about how the Democrats are reponding to the memo not with what was written but how it was "stolen". Talked about the dems quest for power at any cost.
