"Just the facts" what an odd tagline. You seem to have no facts.

There goes WTIC radio again... they just HAVE to do those Emergency Broadcast tests right during one of Rush's monologues. >:-( Now a commercial for Greta Van Sustern of Fox News... "the most popular woman on cable"...????
LOL!! You are talking about a station that thinks Colin McEnroe is a saleable radio personality!! If it weren't for the ad money, they would be doing NPR spots!
As an aside, I wrote an especially, um, critical (yeah, that's it!) letter to the station manager about McEnroe after one of his rudeness attacks (well, maybe the not-rude moments should be called attacks, since they are so much less frequent) that he had to read on the air!!! I had people coming to me asking if I "wrote that venom-filled letter!!" Yes I sure did, and to this day, I have never listened to him again. I will listen to static before I listen to McEnroe. He is soooooo jealous of Rush, he can taste it!!

Why is THIS so important anyway, whether he smoked on facility grounds? Who gives a rats ass? He did something wrong and is trying to correct it. And regarding prosecution, let the law worry about that.

As I said in another post, the "healing arts" are subordinate to Jesus Christ, not the other way around. 12 Step Programs haven't grasped that, yet.Being a Jew in Narcotics Anonymous, and having seen many Jews and even some Muslims in the Program, the successes I have seen shows that specificity of one's Higher Power is not important.
Mine is G-d.

They're modelling stuff from the Limbaugh tie collection, which also included scarves.

Who can know, he probably will keep parts of his life in the future as well. It would be good though as would perhaps joining a group of faith for support.
Would be a big plus for him.

Marta started an on-line magazine outlining the qualifications and job descriptions for various career choices and fields of endeavor. It was/is called VENT.
Yes, she "helped" design ties and the scarves.

Are you serious? Roald Dahl wrote some practically pornographic adult books. I had no idea he put any religious reference into Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. I just reread it with my 2nd son and was also surprised to find how nasty and rude Wonka was with Mike Teevee, before Mike misbehaves at all. I haven't seen the movie.

Just heard this during the station break on Rush's program here in Utah:
If Barbra Streisand is upset, then you know youre doing something right. This is Fred Lampropoulos, Chairman and CEO of Merit Medical Systems. Heres something I thought you might like to know. Ronald Reagans brilliant radio commentaries in the late 70s inspired me to create this radio program. Thats why I was disgusted with CBS when they produced a smear piece against the man I consider to be one of the greatest presidents in our nations history. So I recorded a commentary on the subject, but youll probably never hear it. Fortunately,I wasnt the only one who was upset. The Reagan miniseries was so one-sided and hateful that even the president of CBS was forced to admit it was too biased to air on the network. Consequently, CBS dropped their plans to broadcast the show, and the miniseries will only be appear on cable. The best way to tell this is a good thing is that Barbra Streisand is absolutely furious. Calling the CBS decision a sad day for artistic freedom, the outspoken liberal singer says that conservative critics try to muscle the first amendment, and that the cancellation of the miniseries is an act of censorship, pure and simple. Nonsense. Streisand needs to define her terms. Where I come from, censorship is the government telling you what you can and cant watch. Freedom of speech is stepping up to the plate and telling CBS that youre disgusted with their hatchet-job miniseries. What Streisand calls a sad day for artistic freedom is actually a great day for the First Amendment. She just cant stand the fact that the First Amendment cuts both ways. Shes also probably upset that her husband, James Brolin, the star of the ill-fated miniseries, isnt going to get his moment in prime time. This is Fred Lampropoulos. Thought you might like to know.

I hope so, but what I've heard so far sounds a whole lot like psychobabble. It's early recovery party line stuff, but Rush is walking a fine line here. Rush ain't Oprah, and his show ain't the place to be sorting out personal issues.
The problem is, in early recovery one is necessarily extremely absorbed in the program, whether it's AA/NA/or whatever. As anyone who has been close to someone in recovery can attest, push a program button and all of a sudden it can be tough to get the other person to shut up.
Rush should probably steer clear of the whole business for the time being. Just acknowledge the situation and move on. Stick to politics and humor. Keep the recovery stuff private.

Of course, in America today, few care if something is true, as long as it seems to work. This is the religion/philosophy of pragmatism. In the end, however, pragmatism doesn't work, which is why graduates of recovery programs are still "in recovery" decades later and why addiction is forever. You simply have ZERO clue about the process of recovery.
Even if I was a flagellate-myself-bloody Jesus Christ lovin' Christian, the day I declared myself 'cured' or 'no longer in recovery' is the day I would be using drugs.
Listen, people who have worked the program have a lot more knowledge of this process than you do. Seriously.
