JFK: Case Not Closed
Tuesday, October 28, 2003
On Sunday, Nov. 16, FOX News Channel will present a one-hour special commemorating the 40th anniversary of President Kennedy's assassination.
Join Greta Van Susteren for FOX News Channel's anniversary special JFK: Case Not Closed .
One week after President John F. Kennedy (search) was assassinated, a nation-wide poll revealed that 62% of Americans believed a conspiracy was involved. And now, 40 years later? What do we believe?
A recent FOX News poll found that many Americans today do not believe Lee Harvey Oswald (search) was a lone gunman. And there may be some evidence to prove it...
President Kennedy's assassination may have turned Dealey Plaza (search) into the world's most famous crime scene, but in 1963 crime scene investigation was not a sophisticated forensic science.
Cops made some surprising mistakes mistakes that led to confusion for the investigators and fodder for conspiracy theorists.
Our special will examine the forensic evidence, the autopsy and the single bullet theory, including accounts from the people who were there.
You'll watch footage never before seen on TV and hear eyewitness testimony from people who've never spoken about it until now...
It's a one-hour special on American history that you don't want to miss... only on FOX News Channel.

These are the facts. Posner is an idiot and so is anyone who professes to be "persuaded" by him.
The fact is that our government killed our president on a public street in Dallas. Why does that not offend you?
To: sboyd
Correct. I have the film and have watched it many times, frame by frame and normal speed. He gets driven back and into Jacki's arms, exactly the way he would move if he was hit from the grassy knoll.

I think the route was in that day's paper.

The motorcade was moving at eleven miles an hour.
Check frame 313 and ask yourself if you would want to drive through that.

Posners book was laughable, he used the Warren Commission as a referance, even though some of those witnesses he quotes have already refuted their Warren Commission testimony as manipulated by the commission. These witnesses have refuted the false testimony on film, audio tape, and video tape. A fact Posner obviously ommitted.

I don't know what you mean
How did JFK's blood and brain matter get sprayed all over the motorcycle cop riding behind and to the left of JFK's car other than due to a shot from the right front?
Has anyone ever duplicated what Oswald was supposed to have done? MANY have tried; all have failed, insofar as I know. It's an impossible feat.
It did not happen. What happened is that our government killed our president on a public street in Dallas and very few people care to know the truth. I care because if they can do it once, they will think that they can do it again. I fear for any president who gets crossways with the CIA as JFK did.

The interesting thing is LBJ's SS opened that car door before JFK's limo turned onto Elm; it's on the Hughes's film, shut, then open. You can see it open on the Zapruder film too, before the first shot...

A great book has just been reprinted (title is "The Man Who Knew Too Much") that links Oswald to US intelligence operations. It's a great read.

I didn't think you would understand.
Look at frame 313. Little entrance, big exit.

You are not making yourself clear. The "little entrance" was to the front of the skull. The "big exit" was to the back of the skull. Just as you would expect with a front shot.
If you think that "frame 313" shows something different, please post it so that we can discuss. I am capable of understanding anything that is understandable.

You're correct about the original route being changed.
Could have been LHO got the job knowing of the change, or could have been he was given the job so he'd unwittingly be there to serve as patsy.
As the police burst into the book depository building they encountered LHO in a 2nd floor lunch room getting a coke, cool as you please. An officer asked the boss if LHO worked there, answer affirmative, so they moved on. The elevator was at the top of the building. I can't imagine how LHO could have gotten out of the sniper's nest, down four flights of stairs to the other side of the building, witnessed by a co-worker in the lunch room, and be standing there chillin' when the officer and boss encountered him.
Another thing that has always disturbed me is how badly the witnesses were treated. God forbid they saw something the FBI didn't consider part of the official story. These people were intimidated. Some witnesses fled, some were killed or died strangely. There were so many strange things going on in Dallas that day.
Ten years ago I read everything I could find in print on the assassination, and have continued to since. Obviously one shouldn't believe everything you read, but many interesting points keep cropping up. One thing that is obvious: the Warren Commission blew it big time.
Jack Ruby was interviewed in jail by Chief Justice Earl Warren. Ruby kept telling Warren that he wasn't asking the right questions and that Ruby had much more to say. He asked to be taken to Washington for questioning. That never happened, of course, and Ruby died of one of those real fast-moving brain tumors.
Wish I could get cable out here. Looks like there will be some interesting shows on in the coming days.

How about exactly the way it would move if he was wearing a back brace and hit in the motor-function part of his brain. I'd think that combination might make one flop in all kinds of unlikely directions.

Would it make the blood and gray matter of your brain fly to the back and rear and splatter the motorcycle cop who was riding back there? Come on. JFK was killed by a head shot from the front. No two ways about it. What is it about you people who don't want to see the obvious???
To: Shooter 2.5
You're hopeless. Why aren't you offended that our govenrment killed our president on a city street in Dallas? What's with it with you people?

ScoochDude:
Jackie said that the reason she was trying to crawl on the trunk was to pick up his brain fragments that were spattered on the trunk (that is behind him)
______________________________________
That's not true. Jackie never said any such thing.
Other people have speculated that she was doing that, but she wasn't.

So? -- What was she doing on the trunk?
And, -- how do you know her purpose for being there?

My question is if Kennedy was shot in the back of the head why did his head jerk backwards and the skull fragment behind him? From The Unofficial JFK Assassination FAQ
5.5 The third shot
Oswald's third shot hit JFK in the cowlick area of the back of the head. JFK's head moved forward for a brief fraction of a second and then his body fell back and slumped to the left side. The explanation for the non-intuitive backwards reaction relies on many possible factors which would be almost impossible to duplicate in a single experiment. Some of the factors are: 1) JFK's nervous system had already been damaged by his first wound, whereby tissue displaced by the bullet pushed into his spinal cord, 2) the head shot created instant, massive damage to the nervous system, including stimulation of the nerves in the spinal cord, leading to a neuromuscular spasm, 3) the bullet made a small hole on entry, then created outward pressure in the soft tissue it displaced, caus-ing a large exit wound and the escape of pressure to the front (referred to as the "jet effect"), 4) JFK was wearing a back brace which stiffened his upper body, 5) the vehicle was moving.
