If you have something that qualifies as BREAKING NEWS or FRONT PAGE NEWS, please post it on a separate thread in that category in order to give it maximum exposure and then post a link to the article/thread here so that it will be included in the next update of links. Also, if you post links to articles from original sources and there is also a thread on FR, please link to the FR thread. Why would George W. Greer have a "change of heart" when he has long wanted Terri starved and dehydrated? I think the action today is a stunt to make us feel that Terri is no longer in immediate danger. Greer probably hopes that we will stop our actions to save Terri at the frantic pace so many have followed now for many weeks.

Let's hope Greer is trying to get rid of the case, make it go away, like Lady Macbeth when she tried to remove "that damned spot." Let's hope George W. Greer is telling George J. Felos, "Sometimes, George, friendship just asks too much! I am folding while I still can with some face."

I understand how you feel that maybe Greer is just setting the stage for a sense of false hope for the Schindlers. That is a possibility. But there is also the possibility that Greer has 1.) gotten tired of the Schindlers persistent pleas for help, 2.)that this is what he has meant each time he has told the Schindlers that they were arguing their case improperly, or 3.)that the attention is getting to him.

In any case, Michael has to counter the stuff that was now thrown at him, instead of the other way around. He may be able to come up with some types of treatment he allowed Terri to receive, but there is little way that he can get around the issue of being in a relationship with Jodi and his two children by her that is a conflict of interest.

I thought I heard Larry King say that the magician that sat in that suspended cublicle in London will be his guest this Thursday--I'm hoping that the Schindlers are scheduled for Friday but it has not escaped my attention that he has not had the advertising "promo" for the Schindlers (if they are in fact suppose to be on) that he had running a lot before M.Schiavo's appearance.

I was merely pointing out that certain leftist groups/individuals, i.e., PETA, has weighed in on the cruelty of withholding food, even temporarily, to animals such as chicken or hens, because it's unethical. I think it shows absolutely no disrespect to Terri that I have pointed out the lefts' hypocrisy in their silence concerning/treatment of human beings.
