Marshall now all in with Musgrave getting 62%, just barely ahead of Gore. Nothing from Rankin in the totals, but little from Hinds either. Barbour still running well ahead in Bellwether Warren, but many precincts there still out. I would say from all of this, that we are very close to calling Barbour the winner.

I stood in line behind one who had a Peace is Patriotic sticker on his new Volkswagon while picking up Greek food.
I know my BP musta gone up a good 20-30 points. I loathe naive idealistic young potheads....they remind me of someone I used to know....me.
LOL...actually I was a lefty....but never a rollover pacifist...no way...especially after 9-11....I was never that stupid.
that was 24 years ago for anyone here who doesn't know me..

All I can tell you is that someone tried to insult me one day here on this forum by calling me a Paleoconservative, but it really was a compliment.

Oh. For some reason, I thought you were making a Star Trek analogy.
You should know that when it somes to popular sulture, I am clueless. HA!

The racial politics there must be cast in stone, for there to be so little movement, which suggests that Musgrove is not cutting into the Bush white vote in heavily black counties.

LA has a REp. governor now.
Some would say that's debatable.

Where are you getting these results? I'm all over the Mississipi Google info and the Sec of St website and can't find a thing. Very thrilled you're posting updates but can you give us a link? Thanks from AAAARNOLD land.

You do realize, don't you, that recent polls (yes, real polls by Gallup were recently done in Iraq) have the Iraqis, by about 70%, wanting the US to STAY there and help them get their democracy started? Iraq is 66% Shia, who want us there. Kurds make up about 15%--they want us there. The 19% Sunnis--Saddamites/Ba'athists hate us, and are the ones primarily fighting us, but they are a distinct minority. So, if they're getting pissed off (and they are), well, it's only our big media that's made you think they speak for all Iraqis.

I have a brother-in-law and Sister who are basically nice people but are hard core leftists. In fact I think he might be a communist.
I finally decided to just not discuss politics with them. It is worth it to get along with your family. I honestly don't know how they can believe what they do, but I do know they got indoctrinated at Florida State.

Don't count on it. Not even 9/11 or McGreevey could turn New Jersey Republican.
Then again, our last Republican governor was RINO Christie Whitman, so they haven't had a real republican since Tom Kean at least 20 years ago, and considering what he's trying to do to Bush right now, I'm not sure if he qualifies either (I was too young to judge him in any other way).

Warren Co.? Bellweather? The people of Vicksburg are perpetually lost in a fog of Civil-War-Wishful-Thinking. The folks in Bovina are more in tune.

In Denver, a "peace initiative" to reduce stress lost by a more than 2-1 margin. LOL. What the......who the heck had this brainstorm? LOL. A liberal trial lawyer who saw $$$ in stressed out "victims" of society?
