If you get a chance, read Bill Sammon of the Washington Times book on how the media influenced the Presidential election with their calling of certain states and ignoring the states that were clearly going republican.

Everything we always knew in our gut is there documented in black and white.

There was a great graphic put up by someone here in 2000, showing by state the gap between the candidates and the time the networks called the race. It was clearly evident that Gore states were being called within 10 minutes when he had a 2-4% lead, while Bush states were called at about 30 minutes with a 5-7% lead.

I wish I kept that graphic. It was a classic media bias report card.

The senate race here for Zell's seat only has one unknown loony (D) candidate and she has about 5,000 dollars in campaign funds.

Yeah, but she'll have all the ink and newsprint the Atlanta Constitution can buy. It won't be enough.

Depends on whether or not you consider Arkansas Southern. AR will never go GOP completely. They have the stupidest, most uneducated, backward electorate in the country over there. Also the lowest per capita income level for white citizens in the U.S. They believe in all conservative values, but vote liberal for almost every office year after year.
