A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

I try to read this in the morning or evening instead of my local newspaper. You will almost find everything on FR. That way you can keep up. I think JP has tried several times to get the name of the thread changed. But for continuity we need to keep this one going IMHO.

Yes several jihadi posts said that after the 'hit' we would be so focused on our internal problems that we would not be able to deal with external things. Also that we would lose communication with our forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Havent been on this thread (or even on FR) for a little while because I have been traveling with my job. I noticed the interest in KI pills, and figured I would chime in because I have experience in this field of expertise. Hope you dont mind.
Potassium Iodide and Potassium Iodate only help if the weapon contains iodine elements in ots composition. If there is no Iodine, there is no need for KaI pills.
The little radalert pagers are pretty good things, but for long term exposure like you could find in a weapons type scenario, you need a dosimeter that can tell you the total accumulated dosage over time. There are several sources of dosimeters, some surplus, some new, that can fit the needs of most people if that is the concern. A radalert beeper only measures rises in radioactive activity above background levels, and doesnt do much for long term or high energy monitoring.
This is a good site for those types of items, bnut some can be expensive...beware...the watch type gamma dosimeter is pretty neat, however. You need gamma capability if you are looking for survival stuff.
http://www.laurussystems.com/ Another thing to read about is the Kearney Fallout meter. its a Cold War era radiation survey meter that can be built in your house ( I scratched my head too...but then I built one, took it to work, and it did check out)

Hope that helps

Hume has that M. Ijaz on right now...caravan just came in from northern Iran into Iraq...they caught 1 out of thirty trucks with missles and in interrogating the driver they found out at least 6 have chemical warheads....each of the six they hope will take out 3000-5000 of our troops.

Thanks everyone. This thread is getting difficult to load. Will be lurking unless I come upon something startling. :)

I'm confused. So you just entered the script?I went to look up the clock today and remembered it was no more, so I grabbed some ready-made Java code, tweaked it to the proper zero-hour and posted it on my website.

Thanks for that post. I've been doing taxes all day and have to leave to the store pretty soon. Was trying to see if anything new, creepy or scary came up while I was away. That was pretty creepy.

Islamic Leader Indicted on Charge of Citizenship Watch the I-Team exclusive that lead to today's arrest Tonight on Fox 8 News at 5 and 6.
(1/13/04) A prominent Islamic clergyman has been indicted on a charge of concealing alleged assistance to groups that committed terrorist attacks against Jews when he applied for U.S. citizenship, the government announced Tuesday. Imam Fawaz Mohammed Damrah is accused of concealing from his citizenship application his membership or affiliation with several groups, including the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, U.S. Attorney Gregory White said. The indictment did not specify what type of support Damrah is accused of providing.
Damrah, 41, of suburban Strongsville, was charged with unlawfully obtaining U.S. citizenship in 1994 by providing false or fraudulent information on his citizenship application, White said. Damrah, who also uses the name Fawaz Damra, was arrested at his home about 8:30 a.m. Tuesday by members of the FBI joint terrorism task force. He was held to await an arraignment Tuesday afternoon in U.S. District Court before Judge James S. Gwin.
The other groups for which Damrah is accused of concealing an affiliation or membership were Afghan Refugees Services Inc., a division of the Kafah Refugee Center and also known as Al-Kifah Refugee Center and Alkifah Refugee Center Inc., and the Islamic Committee for Palestine, also known as Islamic Concern Project.
If convicted, Damrah cold face up to five years in prison and a $5,000 fine. In addition, if convicted Damrah could have his citizenship revoked. Palestinian Islamic Jihad has been identified by the U.S. government as a terrorist organization, White said. He said the indictment focused on false statements made in order for Damra to get his citizenship but did not allege any terrorist activities.
"We are strictly dealing with issues, activities and incidents prior to his becoming a naturalized citizen and what he was required to disclose prior to becoming a naturalized citizen in April 1994," White said. Damra, who was born in Palestine, has been a permanent resident in the United States since 1988, White said. Damra's past has been public knowledge for several years. White would not say why the indictment has been filed now.
"It's not something I can comment on. We had opened our case, investigated the matter and returned an indictment, so the record speaks for itself," White said.
Damrah, who leads Ohio's largest mosque, apologized in 2001 when a 10 year-old videotape surfaced showing him making anti-Semitic comments in a speech. Lay leaders of the Islamic Center of Cleveland accepted the apology and said he was forgiven. The videotape was released by immigration agents in 2002 in a deportation case in Florida involving another man. Damrah, apparently videotaped in Chicago in 1991, was shown calling for rifles to be directed at Jewish people, and referring to them as animals.
Damrah represented the Islamic community at interfaith gatherings in Cleveland after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks in New York and Washington. His mosque was rammed by a car six days after the attacks. The suspect was drunk and upset about the terrorist attacks, police said.
