A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Actually I was referring to the plane as being the 'vehicle'. No Doubt boats are well suited for long distance travel.

You know, one thing that occurs to me. A year or so ago, the big thing in the computing world was "distributed computing" where a problem would be divided up into small packets and individuals on the net could sell some processor time on their machine to work on a packet. This would create a virtual supercomputer to solve problems that no single machine would be able to tackle. To some extent, that is what this thread has been. Only God will ever know what effect we have really had.

In my case at least I had gone back and browsed a lot of the earlier posts ... don't remember the earliest numbers but I had skimmed a lot of the entire discussion.

My point was simply that looking at all of the material from EOM and what had been said by and about him/her/them/it did not pass my smell test. FWIW although I'm new to this board I've been around the Internet since, well, before it was the Internet - back when it was known as Arpanet and Usenet (early to mid 70's). I've seen an awful lot of stuff go by in different forums, and a high percentage of what's on the net is pure BS. I think the logorrhea from EOM is a prime example.

However, that having been said I don't think the concerns about the next 4 to 6 weeks are unfounded - far from it. There have been a number of things said by members of al-Qaeda that should cause concerns during this time frame, plus the time period around 2 February and 20 February of this year would have particular interest from some Islamic eschatological points of view. (Another of my interests is both Christian and non-Christian eschatology, about both of which I feel I'm reasonably well-read). And you don't have to believe all or even any of that in order to understand how it could be affecting people's actions.

Some of the other things that have been posted are much more interesting and useful than EOM's latest drivel.

That is the correct tail number. But it is an old image. And there is no verification that this airframe crashed. Anyone can routinely paint a new tail number or hull number on an aircraft.

The Soviet Navy routinely painted different hul numbers on its ships. It is an old, yet still effective trick.

You say "It was refitted with a couple of 1,500 gallon fuel tanks..." How about FIVE of those tanks? For a 7500 gallon capacity?

I sure hope the plane hasn't somehow make its way to the southwestern US, if you know what I'm talking about. :-(

(can't find the article anymore, link is at home, but there was a report that 7300 gallons of gasoline - if you can believe that - were "stolen" from a Phoenix AZ gas station recently)

That's what I was wondering when "twexus" busted Freepers who were going to the photo site (post #7791). If s/he knew about FR (even if s/he wasn't EOM), then wouldn't it be just as easy for EOM to know about us by knowing that FreeRepublic and some other sites got the "referrer ban" msg? I posted a question (#8197) at the time but still don't understand...also, we know there are 'sleepers' on FR as well as the 'usual disruptors...' Could EOM be in either of those categories?

A Boeing 727 plane, that twirled the brain of all central intelligences throughout the world finally has been solved in Guinea where according to many sources, the Jetliner, a Boeing 727, 28 years old who has suddenly disappeared in Angola, Luanda International Airport, on May 25 and who was the object of multi-western intelligence hunt is found in Guinea and is well doing business in Conakry with the complicity of General Lansana Conte’s regime. Guinea is a failed state like Afghanistan before 911. Above a prototype of the Boeing 727 stolen airplane recently found in Conakry, republic of Guinea, West Africa.

West Africa particularly the square of death composed of Sierra Leone , Liberia , Ivory Coast and Guinea and central Africa are the main areas which help terrorist organizations to make quit and money with total impunity and without trail. The airplane was seen in Conakry on June 28, 2003 , re-painted with a new guinean registration 3XGOM. Also visible was the last number of the old registration N844AA on the tail of the Jetliner. Before been spotted at Gbessia International airport, the stolen airplane was using the military airport located at few kilometers from the International Airport as landing and departing pad to hide reports one military serviceman paratrooper in the military airport. Nobody knows with certainty how long the Boeing 727 has been in Conakry since its disappearance from Luanda International Airport before being spotted.

The Mafia “Cosa Nostra” around General Lansana Conte has beyond any doubt stolen this jetliner mostly likely for a criminal venture such as drug, weapons smuggling or terrorism. Guinean national businessmen with strong ties to the government are the main operators of the business Diamonds and gold transaction for illegal arms in Guinea and across the border with Liberia . In N’Zérékoré’s regional airport, residents says to have seen countless “vas et vients” (coming and going) particularly at night of a huge airplane and small ones but nobody known what is going on, security force having cut access to the airport particularly when the airplanes are suspected to arrive.

According to other sources, the Director of the company Futurelec, El Hadj Mamadou Sylla, well-known in Conakry as the person who do business for General Lansana Conte and his family and manage all his billions US dollars assets, is the key coordinator for the transactions of the arms and diamonds inside Guinea and through the border with Liberia.

The Boeing 727 also is used for the international trade, taking diamonds and gold to Morocco and Lebanon from Conakry-Guinea and in return been loaded with arms and drug to be sell in West Africa. To substantiate le complicity of the Guinean government, the airplane once in Conakry has been repaint and in 2-3 days got a new registration with the support of the newly formed Guinea Express, company headed by El Hadj Mamadou Sylla.

Also sources from Conakry refer to involvement of the same airplane with Asian cartels of drugs from Afghanistan , Burma , Thailand and Pakistan as using the services of the Boeing 727 to freight tons of drugs via Lebanon to West Africa to be dispatched to Europe and America . A group of women affiliated with the government with diplomatic passport has been as the vehicle to transport the drug. In America , this year many women have been arrested with an alarming rate in possession of cocaine. Recently, a woman has been arrested at the international Airport of Philadelphia . These women benefit of total protection in Conakry particularly in the Airport where they luggage are exempt of any custom check.

A senior officer in the army lieutenant Sacko who has by inadvertences try to verify the content of a truck transporting arms to Liberia from the city of N’Zérékoré has been found dead in his home that the government has qualify as suicide but in reality everything seem to conclude that he has been victim of a reglement de compte.

According to many sources, people in Guinea are very scared that Guinea has become the Kenya or the Tanzania version for Al Qaeda networking and Guinea can be a launching pad for western attacks against western (American and British) interests in Africa , attacks of the type of September 11, 2001 .

Many people are afraid to talk, fearing that General Lansana Conte’s repressive machine will kill them or them family and also many Guineans regret the lack of investigative interest of Western governments who try to ignore the seriousness of the situation in Guinea, circumstantial intelligence blindness masked by the volatility of the sub region and the false belief that Guinea is the last peaceful Island into an ocean of fire. Instead, Guinea is the next nightmare for the Western democracies such as the United of America, Britain , the European countries because Guinea is the last unburned bush of dry forest drenched with petrol inside of an ocean of smoldering flames.

Guinea is in the way of catching fire rapidly and when it happens it will lead to a human catastrophe beyond imagination. All the ingredients are there for Guinea ’s explosion.

What is most pressing question for western intelligences and governments is could they wait to see the repetition of tragedies such as the bombing of American Embassies in Nairobi and Dar Es Salaam or an other September 11, using airplanes originating from Guinea, or the recent attacks in Morocco and Tunisia before acting to stop the dysfunctional regime of General Lansana Conte.

With a fatally ill president and non-functioning administration, conveniently lax security and endemic culture of corruption, Guinea is the ideal breeding ground for terrorism, and the ultimate nursery for fundamentalism and Al Qaeda operations in West Africa and the wide open gateway for drug cartels. Everybody can enter Guinea and do what ever he wants without fear of been checked. The only think you need is to know how to bride.

If the government were functional how an airplane that is the subject of worldwide hunt can operate in total security and profitability in Guinea ?

The accomplice blind eyes on Guinea can be heavily pricey later for the whole region and for Western interests. The human tragedy that is rising from the horizon will be full of unhappiness for Guinea and sorrows for Western interests.

Court Orders Ansar Al-Islam Founder Held

OSLO, Norway - A court on Tuesday ordered the founder of the Islamic militant group Ansar al-Islam jailed until Feb. 2 pending an investigation into allegations he plotted the attempted murders of his political rivals.

An Oslo appeals court ruled that there was sufficient grounds to hold Mullah Krekar, overturning a lower court's decision to release him last week.

Ansar al-Islam, a group of Kurds in northern Iraq, is considered a terrorist organization by the United States and the United Nations.

Krekar claims he is no longer its leader, but the Borgarting appeals court said it found reason to believe he has maintained a key role in the organization.

"Several witnesses leave the impression that suicide and bombing actions would not have been carried out without (Krekar) being made aware of it, and according to the suspect's statement to police no one could be punished without his approval," said the ruling.

The court also said Krekar should be held because there is a risk he could flee the country.

Krekar was arrested at his home in Oslo in early December on charges he plotted the attempted murders of political rivals in northern Iraq between 2000 and 2001.

In an Arabic television program aired in December, Krekar discussed in detail a March 2003 suicide bombing in Iraq that killed four people, including an Australian journalist.

Ansar al-Islam fielded 600 Islamic militants in the mountains of northern Iraq before being bombed by U.S. forces and overrun by rival Kurdish militias.

Krekar, born Najm al-Din Faraj Ahmad, has denied allegations of terrorism and links to the al-Qaida network.

Krekar was arrested at the airport outside Amsterdam on Sept. 12, 2002, after Iran denied him entry and sent him back to Europe.

After being interviewed by the FBI in Dutch custody, he was deported in January 2003 to Norway, where he was arrested again and questioned by a host of intelligence services before a court ordered him released.
