A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "Jerusalem (CNSNews.com) - Terrorist organizations are planning to carry out a "mega" terror attack on New Year's Eve, according to intelligence information, an Israeli newspaper said on Monday.

According to the warnings, the terrorists plan to inflict massive casualties either by striking with a non-conventional attack, hitting an infrastructure target or attacking soft targets such as schools or hospitals, said the report in the Hebrew daily Ma'ariv.

Israeli government sources would not confirm the warnings specifically for Wednesday night but said that Israel continues to receive information on scores of possible terror attacks, including "mega attacks."

Israel is constantly on the lookout to thwart attacks, the sources said."

Philippines to expel U.S. brothers

MANILA, Philippines (CNN) -- Philippine authorities have arrested and are preparing to deport two American brothers accused of having ties to terrorist organizations for violating the country's immigration laws.

James Stubbs Jr., 56, and Michael Ray Stubbs, 55, were arrested December 13 in Tanza, south of Manila, in a joint operation by the Philippine Navy, Philippine Marine Corps and the Bureau of Immigration and Deportation.

Officials said James, a teacher from California who is married to a Filipino, was a Muslim convert who also uses the name Jamil Daud Mujahib.

The men are charged with violating the Philippine immigration act.

In classifying the men as "undesirable aliens, the Bureau of Immigration cited intelligence reports that the brothers were 'seen meeting with known leaders of various terrorist cells in the country with links to the al Qaeda,'" Immigration Commissioner Andrea Domingo told a news conference on Tuesday.

Navy Chief Vice Admiral Ernesto De Leon said intelligence gathered indicated that "Mujahid and Stubbs were suspected of having been involved in the elaborate financial network of the al Qaeda terrorist networks and its counterpart in the country, notably the Abu Sayaff group and the Moro Islamic Liberation Front."

He said they are alleged to have meet with leaders of charity organizations used as fronts for al Qaeda.

Mujahid had lived in the country since February, officials said. They described the younger Stubbs as a recently retired air-conditioning technician who had worked for the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory.

Livermore, operated by the University of California, is one of the major labs in the United States dealing with nuclear weapons development and also does sensitive work in biomedicine, energy and environmental science.

They were paraded before reporters as Domingo spoke leading to fierce protest from James.

"I am an American citizen," he shouted. "Nobody's telling me anything. They're just saying we're undesirables," he said after armed guards brought in the brothers in handcuffs and yellow T-shirts emblazoned with "detainee", Reuters news agency reported.

"I don't know Muslims anywhere but in America. My brother is not even Muslim, he's a Christian," he told reporters.

Domingo later clarified that the two were suspected of plotting against the government of the United States, not the Philippines, Reuters reported.

No, it is just a listing of the route taken to reach a destination IP address on the Internet. IP addresses can be spoofed and/or partially hidden by sophisticated users, but I believe there are telltale signs when this is done. I am just a novice at this sort of thing.
