[history]
Monday, November 3, 2003
A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.
The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?
The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.
Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.
DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.
Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Daleel offers a glimpse into the jihadist mindset. Despite earlier wolf-crying episodes, he is full of new threats.
Thank you for finding and posting this Buck! He's posting from Dubai? Well, there goes the theory he is roleplaying in America!

Agreed on my end. I will stop. But, Poohbah, DON'T hijack this thread with endless arguing. State your opinion on a post AND LEAVE IT.

Yes, Buckrat is right. Sabertooth had a post on one of her threads from someone that traced the IP.
And Daleel is not just one person. From my emails back and forth to the Yahoo Group Moderator, I can see a difference in the writing. Daleel is more than one person.

But he's such a sweet pit bull . . . just on him, it doesn't show, much or often.
Actually, though he's given me no small amount of tango sierra,
I've grown very fond of him.
He has a wealth of knowledge. And when he's not dumping it in pointed barbed ways, it's sometimes possible to get a gentle sharing of it.
He's not real thrilled with suffering fools gladly or at all. And in light of that, he may sometimes wonder why he suffers with me at all but anyway--he does on almost plenty of occasions and I'm greatly enriched thereby. He's actually one of the FREEPERS I care most about but I wouldn't want it to get out--especially to him. He might snort or guffaw or spit or something explicative--deleted or otherwise.
His mind is a wonderful thing to relate to and he has more heart than you might think. Besides, he's more helpful around here than a list of others. And, he lives in a fun part of the planet.
I tend to often disagree with him on a number of my hobby research areas. But he's marginally patient with me and even gives thoughtful responses regarding such from time to time.
Anyway--be nice to him--he's a treasured friend of mine.

But there will be some seriously clenched anal sphincters in China and Russia--both countries will be praying that we don't ID the special nuclear material as coming from them.
They are all running scared with Libya narc'ing, including France and Germany

Libya most likely tried to use uranium from Chad, either by enriching it to bomb-grade, or cooking plutonium in a reactor. They'd be somewhat unique.
Unless they simply bought the damn bombs wholesale from the Mafiya.
But that raises an interesting question. Why does eveyone opt for the "do-it-yourself" approach to nukes, instead of buying a few leftovers from the former workers' paradise?

Why does eveyone opt for the "do-it-yourself" approach to nukes, instead of buying a few leftovers from the former workers' paradise? Do they? I do wonder if a few have been sold. Do we have to wait for the mushroom clouds to find out?
