Al Qaeda again threatens New York, Washington and Los Angeles - Daily Terror Threat

A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Is al Qaeda Threatening Nuclear Attack?

ALBUQUERQUE, NM (Talon News) -- A letter to the Bush administration containing a list of demands from an alleged representative of the Islamic Jihad Brigade Black Death Squad says failure to fulfill those orders will have deadly consequences.

The document reads in part [sic], "We will give you a prior few minutes notice before our blessed attack so that you will be able to watch your destruction with your own satellite, as we would be by then have passed the skies of the seventh sky to heaven and your nation to the fires of hell."

While this document, written by alleged al Qaeda operative Daleel Almojahid, appears to indicate some sort of nuclear attack, it does seem to mirror closely other terrorist information that is being broadly circulated. On Friday, Reuters reported the White House said it had warned security personnel to be on the look out for terror attacks during the Christmas holiday season.

U.S. authorities said they were concerned by what they called the volume of terrorist threats at home and overseas.

"The Department of Homeland Security has sent out several bulletins ... [to] security officials and law enforcement personnel, urging all to continue be on heightened state of alert especially as we enter the busy holiday season," Reuters reported Scott McClellan, President Bush's spokesman, as saying.

Almojahid wrote that even though the Bush Administration knows well the demands being made by al Qaeda [sic], "We will put them down again so that the world will forgive us for what will happen soon due to your arrogance and childish acts of dictatorship and your love of being under the Jewish rule being slaved under them under all kinds of names."

Alleged al Qaeda demands made in the letter include that the United States cease "invading" Islamic lands anywhere in the world and return all "stolen" Muslim money, "in gold not in any kind of money note."

Other demands read [sic], "The returning of the old borders known to you and we press on the northern borders, the release of all our prisoners in your jails whom you know and we know only. The dismantle of the so called (United Nations and its council) in an international decision."

Almojahid said his group understands the importance of water and oil and is willing for the current situation to stay as it is, with a qualifier.

"The pricing of oil is left to us and we promise you to make it available at a reasonable price for poor and for rich nations," he wrote.

Almojahid wrote that while the situation is critical it is not too late for the Bush administration to change the course of impending disaster. However, if the administration fails to give in to terrorist demands, then his group's apparently predetermined plans will go into effect.

He commented [sic], "We have given you the solution, so either you are with us or against us... But we know that you are not with us but you will be forced to be (and we have warned). It is not in our morals to attack you with such a big attack without a warning. We won't do what you did to us times and times before..."

Almojahid continued [sic], "And the outcome of the attack will be unbelievable and unexpected to you ... Any wrong move the administration takes in directing its policy will lead you to the (cave of darkness)."

Almojahid apologized to the American people and the European community for what he claimed will be an imminent attack, writing, "The coming operation ... will ... destroy them forever, although we apologize from now to the human race from the hardship that will affect them as an aftermath to the attack. It is a less hardship for us than to see continents slaved, we apologize in advance to the American people and to the European communities but you have stood hand in hand with your governments and let the Jews take control of the rest of the world."

Almojahid appeared to imply that there are al Qaeda sympathizers scattered around America in strategic places.

He wrote [sic], "We can tell you that we are people from you and with in you, planning with you and have knowledge of all your planes. We warn you that time is running fast so fast that it's getting harder to turn out the led fire in the wire."

Almojahid made an urgent plea for quick action by the Bush administration, writing, "It is insane avoiding reading the following words without having a clear, wise and fast decision. As soon as possible because time is a critical element in the coming attack and is more important than any time in human history. We can tell you that the wire has been led up and it's in its final stages and nothing will stop it but God and the wisdom of the Arab rules and the non Arab rules."

In an additional e-mail, he added, "It's time to start taking some backup to save your life. I send you this in respect to the words we have shared."

Armed Al Qaeda on Way from Saudi Hideouts for Attack

America’s abrupt elevation of its nationwide terror alert from yellow to orange Sunday, December 21, was not just as a precautionary layer of security for the holiday season. Nor was it prompted merely by increased chatter over al Qaeda-linked websites. US Homeland Minister Tom Ridge spoke of “substantially increased intelligence” that “the extremists” anticipated an attack to exceed or rival the 9/11 disasters. Special police and National Guards unit spread out in New York and other American cities at sensitive locations. The State Department re-issued a simultaneous worldwide warning to overseas Americans to watch out for terrorist activity.

All these measures were pretty extreme.

They were prompted, DEBKAfile’s exclusive counter-terror sources report, by solid and alarming information reaching Washington from two southwestern provinces of Saudi Arabia on the Yemeni border.

From the first week of December, according to our sources, trained al Qaeda terrorists have been creeping past the Saudi, Yemeni and undercover American special forces deployed in the area for long-running counter-terror operations. The terrorists have been heading out of their strongholds in Hadhramouth east of Sanaa, Yemen’s capital, and slipping north and then west bearing large quantities of shoulder-launched ground-air missiles, weapons and different types of explosives. The fundamentalist terrorists then split up between two Saudi towns: Najran and Jizran, capitals of the provinces of those names. The Inhabitants of both regions are ethnic Yemenis and would have lent a willing hand to their compatriot, Osama bin Laden, in the transfer of substantial forces from Hadhramauth.

From Najran, the fundamentalists with their tools have death have been heading north for missions inside the oil kingdom.

From Jizran’s air and sea ports - and its 100 Red Sea islands, including the strategic Farasan Archipelago – a second al Qaeda group has been making for overseas operations. From Jizran, they would have no difficulty in spiriting themselves and their weapons out of the country and out of the Middle East, as far as North America.

At Najran and Jizan alike, air links are available to main cities in the Middle East, the Persian Gulf and East Africa. According to DEBKAfile’s sources, the working intelligence hypothesis is that they are already on their way to target destinations aboard outgoing passenger planes. It is also feared that some may have boarded unmarked aircraft waiting to pick them up and carry them to points unknown. At this stage therefore the number of al Qaeda operatives on their way to overseas locations cannot be established, any more than their destinations. Their names will not appear on any passenger lists.

The picture is in the public domain. Daleel needs to post some video, pics and technical details of AQs suitcase nukes. IMHO, if they have any of these they will likely fizzle and only have the effect of a radiological bomb - These things have to be maintained, you just can't keep one in your closet for eight years and whip it out when needed. Just because there won't be a huge mushroom cloud doesn't mean that they will not have a huge psychological effect on the American public.

I would guess that Deleel's on someone's radar, and that "someone" has the full cooperation of Yahoo in obtaining the IP addresses he's posting from.

Many will recall that Daniel Pearl's kidnappers were arrested within 2 weeks, no doubt due to their brilliant strategy of sending "anonymous" Hotmail threats to the Pakistan police and to several American news organizations. I guess they didn't know that Hotmail embeds the source IP address of the sender with the email, so their "anonymous" Hotmails pointed right back to the Islamabad Internet cafe they were using. I'll also speculate that since they were so ignorant about Hotmail, that they also went back to that same Internet cafe multiple times, and that the owners of that cafe were very cooperative with the Pakistani police and our intel people.

By the same token, Daleel is such a contrived bozo (e.g., lifting CNN imagery for his scary pictures), that I have little doubt he's already been ID'd by the authorities in much the same manner.
