A new message was posted in the last few hours by the Jeddah-based al-Qaeda-linked Al-Islah (Reform) society calling on Muslims to flee New York, Washington and Los Angeles in advance of major al Qaeda attacks in those cities. This is revealed by DEBKAfile.

The message accuses the United States of predetermining its end (doom) by its policies. ?The Jews rule the Pentagon by remote control and (are the cause) of Muslims being killed in every corner of the world. The United States should therefore expect more blows.?

The message is signed on behalf of the al Bayan (The Threat) movement by ?your warrior brother, Abul Hassan al Khadrami?.

Our Muslim expert identifies the name of the signatory as belonging to a Yemeni from Hadhrameuth, the Bin Ladens? place of origin where Osama enjoys substantial tribal support.

DEBKAfile?s counter-terror sources stress that warnings appearing on these forums are taken both very seriously and with caution by the intelligence services keeping track of the terrorist network?s electronic traffic.

Last November, Jeddah-based fundamentalist forums addressed a message to an Al Qaeda member, saying whoever understands ? understands; whoever knows, knows, but we are marching towards an operation that will take us to Paradise. Three days later, the Mombasa Paradise hotel was blown up killing 12 Kenyans and 3 Israelis and a failed shoulder-launched Strela anti-air missile missed an Israeli airliner at Mombasa airport.

Whether or not US Special Operations have secured the arrest of Osama Bin Laden remains to be verified. News reports state it isn't so. --The targeting of areas inside the United States where there is strong volcanic action and activating them by humans so that the rocks "will slide" and the catastrophe will start.

--The strike to be carried out simultaneously with strikes against US and Western embassies in the world.

--There will be a strike in winter and one in summer.

--The use of what he called the booby-trapped death vehicles and also human bombs, which he said will move freely in the US cities streets.

--The existence of a list of US officials to be assassinated. "The suicide bombers' teams have arrived and the weapons, ammunition, explosives, and bombs caches are easy to reach."

Yemen justifies 2002 assassinations

Yemen has revealed details that it cooperated with Washington in tracking and killing a suspected Al-Qaeda leader after US satellites picked up the vibrations of the man’s voice, the Saudi newspaper Asharq Al-Awsat said on Friday.

It quoted Yemeni Vice-President Abed Rabbo Mansur’s comments on a missile attack on November 3, 2002 in which six Yemenis, said to be Al-Qaeda members, including one suspected of masterminding an operation against a US warship and a French oil tanker, were killed. Agents of the US intelligence agency, the CIA, fired the missile by remote control from a Predator pilotless aircraft in east Yemen, destroying the vehicle carrying the six suspects.

Among those killed was Ali Qaed Sunian Al-Harthi, alias Abu Ali. He was suspected of being one of the ringleaders in the attack on October 12, 2000 against the warship USS Cole in the southern Yemen port of Aden in which 17 crew members died.

“This special operation targeted Abu Ali, an Al-Qaeda leader ... who organised the explosion on the French oil tanker and whom we have hunted in vain for six months,” said Mansour. The oil tanker Limburg was rammed by a small boat off the Yemeni coast in October 2002, causing an explosion which killed a Bulgarian seaman.

“That is why we coordinated with the Americans ... who were able to detect and pinpoint Harthi thanks to satellites picking up the vibrations of his voice. We had no choice other than to cooperate with Washington because we don’t have advanced technology, the vice-president added.

Attyiat-Allah said a possible future attack on the same scale as 9-11 was coming.He described it as innovative and would come at a time completely unexpected. Attyiat-Allah said western analysts would be unable to predict when the attack could occur, because it would be "unimaginable in the normal way."

That puts a new twist on it. What could they possibly mean by "unimaginable in the normal way"? Hmmm......so it will appear to be something that is normal or natural, yet it will also be catastrophic. This doesn't sound good. This could be biological or it could be a "natural disaster".

Alleged terrorist leader captured in Thursday raid

Jan. 23: The United States announced Friday arrests of two high-ranking terrorist suspects and new proof al-Qaida members are behind attacks in Iraq. Jim Miklaszewski reports.

U.S. officials claim they now have living proof that Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaida network may be behind some of the terrorist attacks in Iraq. The officials tell NBC News U.S. special forces captured a top al-Qaida leader during a raid in Iraq on Thursday.

He’s Hasan Guhl — in the top 20 of al-Qaida leaders. Called “The Gatekeeper,” he’s responsible for providing money, transportation and safe havens for al-Qaida terrorists.

Intelligence sources say Guhl was sent to Iraq by bin Laden or his deputy Ayman al-Zawahiri. U.S. officials call Guhl’s capture huge because he could provide critical intelligence on what al-Qaida plans in Iraq.

According to terrorism expert Neil Livingstone, “If Hasan Guhl talks to his interrogators, he’s probably going to have a good idea of how many foreign fighters are in Iraq today, how much money and outside support is coming in.”

In a separate raid last week, U.S. special forces netted another big catch. He’s Husam al Yemeni, also known as “Firas” — No. 2 in the terrorist group Ansar al Islam and suspected of planning and executing terrorist attacks against U.S. forces in Iraq.

He’s the deputy to Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the head of Ansar al Islam, who has direct links to al-Qaida.

Federal authorities this year mounted one of the most extensive investigations of domestic terrorism since the Oklahoma City bombing, CBS 11 has learned.

Three people linked to white supremacist and anti-government groups are in custody. At least one weapon of mass destruction - a sodium cyanide bomb capable of delivering a deadly gas cloud - has been seized in the Tyler area.

Investigators have seized at least 100 other bombs, bomb components, machine guns, 500,000 rounds of ammunition and chemical agents. But the government also found some chilling personal documents indicating that unknown co-conspirators may still be free to carry out what appeared to be an advanced plot. And, authorities familiar with the case say more potentially deadly cyanide bombs may be in circulation.
