People in europe. There some cable shows are bought and broadcast over regual airwaves. Past seasons of sex in the city, the sopranos. All unedited over the airwaves.
This may "solve" viacoms problem in the us. But this is going to be no different than the dixichix being anti-american in england. Its a shell game to preseve international distribution.

I cancelled HBO because of their leftist propaganda. Showtime has generally been more balanced (i.e., The Day Reagan was Shot, the 9/11 Bush movie, etc.). Time to let them know that if they buy this, I'll cancel them, too, regardless of how much I enjoy Jeremiah and Dead Like Me.

Did we right wing wackos care about the scenes with Ron Reagan Jr. doing ballet?Reagan Jr has become quite the left wing shill these days. I wonder what he thinks of CBS highlighting the pansy angle? Anybody know?

Probably delighted at the PR exposure.

About the only thing dumber than smearing the Reagans that CBS has done is continued skewed news. I'd RATHER NOT!!!

"...Stars Judy Davis and James Brolin refuse to do any interviews to publicize the program..." That is so funny, that they are feeling the heat. Barbara Streisand and her spouse must be having great conversations about Americans latest reactions to their behavior/rotten behavior, don't you think? LOL

Why not dump it in the garbage can where it belongs?

Melanie Morgan said on KSFO this morning that Ron Jr. was seen recently doing a dog show on one of the cable chammels. She also mentioned he was pitching a liberal based radio talk show but not getting any takers.

She also mentioned he was pitching a liberal based radio talk show but not getting any takers. Then maybe he's thrilled at how the gay left have treated him in this movie: as an outed member of their little cult, victimized by his father? Every time Ive seen him talk, he seems very embittered about his parents. But who knows? He sure is treated like a freak in this movie (from what Ive read, )

speaking of caving to special interest cbs did that when they took on the series from the streisands!!

If they air the program with all its malicious inventions and overall tone, I'll delete CBS from my TV and VCR channel selections.I did that months ago for all programming besides NFL games (My husband was the voice of reason there). My three daughters, all 4 and under, have never seen a television program on any of "the big 3" networks, and only the least objectional on FOX and cable.

http://www.tvguide.com/news/entertainment/index.asp#A FIRESTORM: News flash: Les Moonves can be intimidated. According to reports, CBS's fearless leader is considering dropping The Reagans, the network's upcoming four-hour miniseries about the former president. Scheduled to air on Nov. 16 and 18, the controversial project has come under fire from conservative groups who claim the movie casts Ronald and Nancy in an unflattering and inaccurate light. One scenario has Moonves dumping the telepic on sister pay-cabler Showtime. A decision is expected in the next couple of days.

I want Mel Gibson to make a movie about the Reagans.

"Streisand and her spouse must be having great conversations...."
Oh, my, yes. I'll bet she put him up to do this movie.
I hope he picks up the half grapefruit and shoves it in her face. Now, THAT would make a great movie scene!
(oh, wait, Cagney did that already.....

"Newsweek says everything was fine until a New York Times story last month detailed the complaints of conservatives." We'd have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those pesky kids.
